These are excellent and reliable but please be aware they are tiny

Using to monitor incubator temperature,these 2 instruments arrived promptly,nicely packed,batteries fitted but isolated so just a case of pulling out the battery isolating film tongue and the display came on. Checked both against a calibrated digital thermometer,they are accurate to within 0.3 degrees C and quickly react to slightest cange in temp. A good price and will definitely re-order if needed again,( Can't comment on battery life as only in use since yesterday but they are fitted with a big chunky cell so would probably last a while.)

Small, dinky, clear screen but it is let down by the fact that it doesn't have a stand to hold it up in a slightly tilted position, so the screen can't be read unless it is placed at eye level or you bend over.

Using in my tortoise vivarium great to let me know humidity so he is comfortable highly recommend

Batteries in the 3 units have lasted less than 2 months. They're an usual type and so buying replacement batteries will likely cost more than the units themselves. Disappointing after such a short time. The product does work effectively though...when powered.

These are great, nice big screen and easy to read. But they are EATING batteries. Battery lasts 3 weeks (not months!) max. I've already replaced them all twice and the cost of the circular batteries arent cheap. I'd avoid

With one placed close to the h.ouse temperature thermostat i take the other from room to room to check on the heating distribution throughout the house

I place these inside my guitar cases to keep tabs on the humidity. They work well and the small form factor is good for placing them in smaller spaces. They are not 100% accurate and between different units of the same model, it is not uncommon to see anywhere between 3-5% differences in readings. But this is to be expected with lower cost hygrometers. They still work well for giving a general idea of the relative humidity. For the price, definitely worth it.
