This is the second Boss BE7ACP we own. The first one I bought for my car at full price not thinking to look for a manufacturer certified option. The manufacturer certified one is identical to the full price one and is in my wife’s car. Absolutely nothing wrong with this unit. No scratches, everything in the box. Simply came in a brown box with a manufacturer certified sticker on top. At 50% off msrp, don’t hesitate.The radio itself works great. I use Apple Car Play and love it. Voice command is perfect. Using just the Bluetooth connection is really good as well. The phone quickly connects every time I start the car. All you have to do is press the Bluetooth/stream button and music starts up where you last stopped it. If you were listening when the car was shut off, the Bluetooth starts up and music plays without having to do anything. This is the way a Bluetooth car stereo should always be. We’ve had a couple of other older varieties of Bluetooth stereos and they were both headaches (Kenwood and JVC). Granted they were older tech, but this Boss is, well the Boss.User note: the preset volume for CarPlay, Bluetooth, etc. is pretty low. In the Settings - Audio there is a Source Level option where you can adjust the output level for the various functions. See page 25 in the manual. I found most of them needed to go up.

Purchased this for my 2014 subaru brz as an upgrade to the factory system as the factory system doesn't support Android Auto or Apple Carplay. This unit has support for both. On top of that is sounds fantastic. (My first purchase of a different unit resulted in a return due to sound quality). On top of that the User interface is super intuitive. Large spaces on the ample and responsive touchscreen make navigation on this better than my 2023 accurate or my 2020 cx-5... (sadly). I absolutely love this unit and for the money... Sub $200 I really don't think there is a better value that is manufacturered by a reputable brand. I would recommend this for a solid budget buy!

This is the second time I took a chance on "Used Like New" from Amazon. It's the last time also. In both instances they Lied! A stereo doesn't really work well without volume control. Literally, the "+" volume up symbol was worn off from someone trying to get the volume to increase like a thousand times. I tried too. Yep, still doesn't work. Go with renewed if you don't want to buy new for whatever reason. "Used Like New" is a lie from Amazon!

Purchased this radio to replace the junk stock double din radio in my 2011 Ram 3500 after it died.Install was a bit of a pain. You need to cut about 1/8” of plastic out of the top of your inner dash. Doesn’t show once you put the outside panel back on.This radio has tons of features! Love the apple car play!I can play Amazon or Spotify music. Use google or Apple Maps.OnXhunt app also works ! Use Siri to get directions on Apple or google maps.I got this radio certified factory reconditioned.Everything looked brand new!! Saved over $100Buy it, you won’t regret it!

Apple CarPlay works good wired CarPlay. Bluetooth streaming is the worst of any radio I’ve ever installed. Sounds like your phone is 50ft away breaking up sound coming in and out. Other than that decent head unit

It's a pretty nice unit. Sounds good, Android auto works well. Overall, I would give a 5 star except for the microphone that comes with it. This appears to be a standard type Mic, not noise cancelling. The hands free was useless if the car wss moving. It wasn't a big deal to get a better mic, but having to pull the head unit to install was annoying. I got a $12 Mic and the hands free is great now. You'd think that they would use a noise cancelling Mic given how cheap it was. Since they provided a mic....Now this was a reconditioned unit, so maybe a new one had a better Mic and this was just tossed in.
