Just what i needed

Works as it should. It's perfect for my alpha tig 200x. Pedal is large and feels like a car accelerator.

Purchase GX20-5 plugs on Amazon.Pins 1-5 of the 7 pin plug map to Pins 1-5 of the 5 pin plug.1-2 is the switch.5 and 3 are the ends of the potentiometer and 4 is the sweeper.4-5 is low up and goes to 10k down.3-4 is 10k up and goes low down.

Perfect upgrade to the older style pedal with my AlphaTig machine. They even called me to verify my machine model so that I was getting the right part.

I purchased an AHP-Alpha TIG 200X welder and it came with the horrible pedal ... not quite as horrible as the Eastwood machine that I had, but it was horrible! When I saw this one available, I jump right on it. It plugged right into my machine and I was off and running. The pedal has considerably more spring tension than I am used to, but it only took a little while to figure it out. The new AHP comes with this newer pedal. Happy!

I have the Alphatig 201XD, the revision that no longer has the clear front cover plate. I had a concern that this would not work with the 201XD because foot pedal Ω requirements might have changed again. It turns out that it works perfectly, and I measured both foot pedals across pins 3 and 4.The OEM foot pedal went from 9.06 K Ω to 1.5 Ω, and the Nova TIG foot pedal for the AHP measured 9.59 K Ω to 1.5 Ω, so both have a nominal 10K Ω resistor.Nova TIG, Everlast, or Amazon, should fix the description, because the part that says it's for the AHP AlphaTIG that uses 22K Ω and 25K Ω pedals is wrong, it's a replacement for the newer ones that use a 10K Ω foot pedal.

10/4/19 : Just received my NOVA Tig Foot Pedal and still waiting on my Primeweld Welding machine . Not sure if the foot pedal is compatible but i will definitely confirm and update this once i plug it in. I noticed there’s no pictures and also wanted to contribute to posting a few pictures. I usually rely on the reviews before purchasing products.UPDATE: Its a direct fit clearly advertised to be compatible with AHP tig welder . However i want to clarify that it is also compatible with Primeweld Welder. Love this foot pedal, just as good as Miller and Lincoln ones in school. I noticed the price went up.Happy Customer !

I bought this to upgrade the factory pedal on my AHP Alpha 200X tig welder. When I first started out with this welder, I was pretty new tig welding and as I progressed, I noticed the pedal was becoming more of a problem. The action on this unit is much more comfortable and the arc is easier to control as well. Well worth it!
