Nice weight, i love it, the neoprene board its so pretty, but the tote its annoying, is really hard to handle, but if you like playing chess this is an item you will buy.

This set is fairly nice, the pieces are large and weighted with felt bottoms. The board is a nice size and the pieces fit nicely on it. There are several problems I have with the set however. Out of the box, the pieces were so tightly packed into the carrying bag that they've left indentations on the neoprene board (which have not yet gone away), and the board was somewhat wrinkled. I'm hoping those aren't permanent problems. But that leads to the next issue, it seems like the carrier was meant for a 3 3/4" set, not the 4" set that comes with this one. Now that I have the set unpacked, I haven't been able to get all the pieces and the board back into the carrier, which is VERY disappointing. Finally, the last issue I had was the points on the crowns of the queens were extremely sharp (they came packed with slips of cardboard rubber-banded around their heads), and I would imagine if anyone tried packing those pieces into the carrier without those they would end up tearing the felt off some of the other pieces. I just filed the the points off a bit so they weren't so sharp, but that shouldn't be necessary for a set this expensive. If I figure out how to pack everything back into the carrier, I'll be very happy with the set, but otherwise, I'd look elsewhere.
