A very under rated headset
I have owned this headset quite a few times. I bought it twice in the past 5 years. Hands down it is one of the best headsets that you can own for the price of under 30 dollars. The Pros:Behind the head configuration is great. Probably like a lot of people I find that the over the head style of headset to be dated and annoying. There is nothing more annoying than feeling the headset on top of your head. It feels comfortable on the ear even for long time use which for me would be 2-5 hours with them on. Little to no irritation behind the ear or ache from sitting against them.Sound output quality is amazing. I have tried a handful of other headsets in the same price range and nothing comes close to the quality that I have come to enjoy from this headset. For the money that you pay the quality is great.Mic quality is equally amazing. Clear voice pickup and input quality. The mic comes to just about the corner of my mouth and the mic arm is fully bendable and can be bent to how you want it positioned near your mouth.Mic toggle and volume wheel. These are a must for me. I play games with my buddies online and use Teamspeak or Ventrilo. Turning up and down the volume as well as silencing my mic is really a must.Nice long and flexible cord.Changeable plates for the headset. This was an awesome feature to me on my first purchase of the headset. I usually kept it on the default black but sometimes I like to wear some orange or red. :PThe Dirty Cons:The only con I found with this headset is with the little volume control and mic toggle. As I said I have owned two of these headsets in the past 5 years. When one broke it was always at the little control box. More specifically the volume wheel. Over time One side of your headset will start cutting out and you have to play with the wheel a bit to get it to come back and later it will stop working completely. This is mostly brought on by being too rough with this headset and wear overtime. Yanking on the cord will cause this problem to arise. If you are a person who is rough on their things, this is not the headset for you.

Nice, but you need to know some things, first
Right. First off, i bought this thing, figuring it would work with my G5 iMac.I was wrong. Or logitech was shamefully lacking in their info for Mac users. It SAYS it can work with a Mac, but all I got was the headphones to work.I had to run out, and pick up this Egg looking thing, called iVoice2. It plugsinto your USB slot, and allows you to use ANY PC mic/headset with yourmac. It is $35-$50 (depending on where you buy it). But, on plus side, after you buy the iVoice2 from Macally, you can use ANYPC headset with mic you want. :)Now, on with the headset. This headset is a bit uncomfortable. I like thebehind the ears headsets, but this one is made for big heads, or Large hair.It has the advantage of not being able to fall off, but it feels loose. The mic is great. It doesn't reach your mouth. It stops about 2/3rds of the way,but it does pick up some nice clear sound. I use it for recording voices foranimation and small games I make. You DO need to turn up the GAIN in your computer, but after that, it's GOLD.The sound is clear, rich, and not Hissy. i prefer the mic to be closer to the mouth, because you have to speak up, to get nice levels. If you whisper, you will getrecorded, but you will have to amplify it later in post, and my get some hiss. All and all, a good product. At the price, you can't do much better. The long cord is also a plus, when you have people reading from a script, anddon't want them hunched over a table to speak into a desk mic.Another cool feature, is that the shields on the sides come off, and it comes with4 colors to place there (black, red, blue, orange), So you know which is yours.A better mic is the Plantronics DSP-100. It's USB, and has only one head phone, but it sound beautiful. It also costs $45.

logitech earset
I used to own a lot of Logitech products. But after this one, I'll probably consider two or three times before I purchase it again. The volume was not that high, and the material isn't that great. but I guess you pay for what you get.. the only nice things was the design of the earset. I can't use the microphone, because I have to shout for the other person on the other line to hear me. does the quality diminish after 2007 or something??

Great all purpose headset
I got this headset specifially for my softphone (VoIP) that I need at work. I figued it would be good but the audio quality is excellent and the mic is clear. I especially like the fact that it covers both ears (dual mono) for VoIP. In my cramped, loud, hellish office this is a must.I figured I would hook my Samsung YP-MT6Z (which RULES) so I could listen to some Rush, Dream Theater, and Godsmack. The audio quality was great again.I am on calls that last hours. The headset's volume and mic on/off pays here. Click the mic off when you don't need to talk or get a cell phone call. When I travel, have to bundle it tightly so it will fit in my dinky laptop bag (I really need a new one). Even so, it springs back into shape. Very flexible.Solid, good quality, cheap, comfortable, and portable. Easy pick.

I would NOT PICK IT AGAIN
cheap, sturdy, attractive, classic logitech technology...but also a major pain in the ear and head. I have no complaints about the headset's performance, but the silly design pains my ear after twenty minutes of use - leave alone the hours it was supposedly designed for.You would be better off with a conventional over the ears headphone with padding.
