Factory 2017 2018 Kia Forte Sedan Spare Tire Kit

Last month, I found myself on the side of the road with a flat. I have a 2019 Kia Forte and I only had the patch repair kit that came with the car. Well - I was in trouble because something ripped through my tire and I needed a spare. Hours being stranded and two tows later I got a new tire. After that experience, I decided to get this spare tire kit. I was going to get this locally, but the dealership would have had to order one AND they charged an extra $25 for doing so! Really? I decided to get this set and I'm glad I did. This came quickly and was packaged very well. The set came with the spare complete with the tire, jack, tools, and form holder. Everything you'd need to change a tire is in this kit. I feel so much better having this and the next car I get I will make sure that it has a SPARE already in the trunk!

Ordered this kit on Prime day (Monday) it was shipped from the Texas based supplier on Tuesday & I received it on Friday. I bought a 2017 Kia Forte EX with (115/45/R17 H tires) last month that came with only the tube patch kit good only for a nail puncture and wanted at least the donut tire protection in case of a tear ect. This kit came in the foam plastic thing that sits on top of the tire. It contained the jack & wrench, a screwdriver and a corkscrew thing (no idea what that's used for) but it must do something as my OME included tube patch kit had it also? The donut tire (a KOMO brand) with a DOT manufacturing date of the fall of 2017 stamped on the tire, was inflated to prober PSI. It included easy to follow instructions from Kia.I priced this exact same product from the Kia parts department where I bought my Kia the day before ordering at $260.00 plus tax. I'm happy and will remember to check Amazon & their marketplace seller (Southwest Kia Accessories) in the future!

Item was delivered ahead of schedule and arrived in perfect condition. This is the real deal OEM complete factory new kit. Came with all accesories and detailed installation instructions. It shipped for free and was priced 40 dollars cheaper than my local Kia dealership. If you need an emergency spare for your Kia instead of the air pump and tire sealant supplied in your car, this is the place to go. Highly recommended. *** By the way, I'm disabled and still managed to install this kit in less than twenty minutes.
