Audi TT 8J RHD Bonnet Release Handle Lever Black Brand New Genuine

Purchased for my Audi TT. It's a common fault that the bonnet catch is made of plastic and gives up. I always buy several for the moment one of them breaks. This one however shows no sign of wear or breaking and it's been there for quite some time. I'm impressed

It is very easy to fit, just watch a YouTube video. It took me about 5 minutes. The plastic feels as good as the original so only time will tell. If it breaks within 10 years I will update the review 😂

Does the job. Annoying handle though, so easy to break!

yes!and this handle helped me release it!FYI, you never need to pull the leaver more than a few centimetres. The seal around the bonnet and other junk will be the problem and not this unless you do what I did and think pulling harder on this will fix things.Which is probably why you're here in the first place. Easy enough to fit though.

On the first go, this snapped (despite the old one lasting 16 years). I ordered another, requested a refund in the meantime. The seller replied that this is a maintenance issue on my car without hesitation, and did not even consider the product was faulty. I was going to give it another go but after this customer service cancelled my order and will look elsewhere. For £25 it should not snap on the first attempt. (I was not pushing it excessively, and the catch is not stuck, it can be moved easily with another implement for example).

Easy to remove the remains of the original that broke (unbelievably poor design/quality by Audi) and to fit the replacement. I have low expectations that this will last for long

Il s'est cassé au bout de 2 ouverture de capot. Je ne vous recommande pas cet article.
