Excellent all-around Assault Pack
This assault pack took enough beatings in Ukraine, and it hasn't broken at all. The pack is very spacious and extremely well constructed. M-TAC is a great company to purchase from!Слава Україні!Героям Слава!

just got it, looks solid.
Will update, but on first exam looks and feels solid. For $30 is a no brainer.

What are you really going to use it for?
TLDR: Not a bad little ruck for light loads and light hikes or day trips to the zoo, where you're carrying lunch / water for two and a few extras. Good value for the money. As with any pack though, you need to be honest with yourself about what you're realistically going to use it for. If you're just looking for a nice all-around light-load ruck this will do the job. Here are some of the "issues" with it. Some of these are a bit nitpicky, but before you pass on this bag b/c of them, remember, you're buying a ~40ish dollar pack not a 100+ dollar one. There's got to be cost-cutting somewhere.1. With something that is definitely not waterproof (...and they don't claim it to be IIRC). I'd expect the manufacturer to include a cover you that can break out and stretch over the pack when out in weather. It is a minor cost, but a big benefit to a buyer.2. The bladder pouch is on the outside and it Velcro's shut. I'm not a fan of this design. Although it will be lashed to your back most of the time, my experience is that sand, water, dirt and bugs get anywhere that isn't sealed whether it is on your back or you've taken it off and set it down to camp or rest. Again, if you're honest about how you'll use this, then that may not be a concern.3. The zippers are not a s smooth as I'd like. I don't think you'd ever have a problem with them, but still it is a small gripe.4. The (what they are calling) PVC that it is made from is where they really save the money. It is definitely not the best quality material, ESPECIALLY on the inside of the pack.7. I HATE backs that have the midriff strap that isn't removable. It is an odd decision to include it here. The pack really isn't big enough to need it, and the shoulder straps aren't wide enough to comfortably support a load where you'd need that strap to begin with. Just a weird design choice IMO.8. 3 Day pack might be stretching it. If you go crazy and load up this back, you're definitely going to feel it in your shoulders with those straps. Comfortable is not the word I would choose. For a legit day pack or something like that it would be fine. ...again, be honest with yourself about how you're really going to employ this thing.Overall, I feel like this bag was designed by someone who looked at other bags and tried to cherry pick this or that versus someone who really uses packs on a regular basis and understands what someone might really want from a pack that comes in at a more budget-friendly price.

RUGGED, Mil-Spec, and Mission Ready
This is a very well made Pack. It's really Over-Kill for a Day Pack in an Urban Environment, but if used this way it will last for years. This is made much better than I had anticipated at this price point.I'm a 3rd Generation U.S. Marine and would not think twice about taking this to the field with me. It would definitely hold up out in the woods for a camping and hunting trips.I wore this around for a few hours while doing daily things to see how comfortable it is. Here in the Florida Heat I only had a few small tiny sweat spots on my back. I'm impressed at just how COOL this pack wears. It's got plenty of padding between your back and the large pocket on the backside of this pack. The Waist Strap appears to be large enough to fit up to say a 56 inch waist. It's got a lot of length to it.At this price, you will not find a better made pack that will surely hold up to just about anything you need to do with it.This will be my new E.D.C. Pack. I highly recommend this pack. I'll be looking into more items offered by M-Tac now that I've seen the quality of this pack.

This is a Quality Piece of Kit!
Everything about this pack is quality. The PVC-lined fabric is water resistant, rugged and solidly stitched. The zippers (usually a real weak spot) appear to be robust and long-lasting. The shoulder-straps are well-padded and comfortable. The buckles seem sturdy. The mesh backing breathes well. There are plenty of Molle points for additional options, but you probably won't need much as this bag has a LOT of space. The individual compartments are well thought out, with smaller pockets within for specialized gear like a multi-tool, writing implements, compass, etc. and there is also space for a camelback style water carrier. This is a serious piece of kit which will last a long time. What is best of all is the price tag. For this quality, the price is about half what competitors are charging, and some of their gear is not this rugged. In fact, for this price, it is almost too good to be true, but true it is. A+++!
