Had these before. Rubber bands disintegrated after 4 years, so I needed replacements.

You will spend 50% of your fishing time fighting to get this thing back on your rod because the slightest touch will make it pop off. And eventually it will fling off into the abyss when you are trying to get it back on. This is a terrible product. I bought it because my kids are finally into fishing and I want it to be safe for them. Now I'm just wasting their fishing time too.

Decent for the price for sure. The first one I got put on without a hitch but the other two that I tried to put on I used to small of an o-ring and busted the plastic in trying to do so. Now that is completely me fault and I take that responsibility but I feel like the plastic could still be a little more durable because I wasn’t using that much force. But I would buy again if I needed more.

They were smaller than expected, but hopefully they will do the trick.

Great idea but poor execution. These work great if you can get the darn little things on without a fight. If your fishing late into evening forget trying to get them on in the dark or even in rain!

I use these on all my Lews rods cuz the hook keepers are always lower on the rod than the reel. This doesn’t help when I place in my rod holders on my float tube cuz I can’t have a lure attached to rod and place in holders. These make everything work perfectly cuz I can now have them placed above my reels and have any lure wanted on them and they go all the way down in the holders.

I am very impressed with this rod, and more than happy with it. The rod is beautifully crafted, follow anglers are quick to notice the good looks and fit and finish of the rod. I love that the rod comes with multiple configurations, which gives me the option of medium or medium heavy actions from one rod. This allows me to quickly change the action to suit my for a day of fishing.

These hook keepers are the tiniest I’ve ever seen. So small that they are difficult to work with. They went right in the trash. I will order a name brand that has a reputation to uphold. Don’t waste your money here! They should come with a magnifying glass!
