Good compromise
I have a selection of pruning saws, all have their pluses and minuses. this was purchased to go on the end of a Bahco telescopic pole for limb pruning at height, it works well and the pole is used for other jobs as well. These saws are not as good as Silky for instance and the pole flexes, the Silky doesn't as it is oval, but they are dedicated and expensive so there has to be the work to justify the layout, this Bahco saw does the job at a reasonable price and from experience I know they last well and if you need to can be sharpened.

Good pole saw blade
This is my second saw blade. I bought is as a spare (not that my first one is blunt yet)! These seem to stay sharp for ages. The blade does flex a bit in use which is why I am only giving it four stars. I think it might perform better if it was a bit more rigid. I would recommend to a friend.

Brilliant pruning saw
I bought this saw along with the Bahco 3M extending pole. Both items have been fantastic buys. The saw is easy to use and cuts through thick branches very quickly even when attached to the fully extended pole which is just what I had wanted. I have also used the saw without the pole and again it is an excellent saw, dealing with substantial branches with ease. The metal saw handle is not that comfortable but with a pair of normal garden work gloves, it gives no problems. Overall, this is one of the best pieces of garden equipment that I have ever bought.

Pruning saw
I work on a farm so have to do a lot of pruning of apple trees each year so I need a good saw. I like this Bahco saw as it is straight forward to attach to a handle and it does the job well. After pruning several hundred trees the saw remains quite sharp. Just be aware it is extremely sharp but if you know what you are doing and use it properly you should be fine.Would always use Bahco.

Great as a hand saw or a pole saw
With 40 trees in our garden and not wanting to use a chain saw while working at heights this is an ideal tool. either and hand tool or on the end of a pole.

It's really sharp and easy to use
Arrived on time and has been used to thin and crown lift a piece of woodland in a local park. It's really sharp and easy to use, taking down pretty amply trees. It's an asset to our community group for helping to manage our local park's wooded areas.

Very good product.
Bought this some years ago. Still works very well after many years of continuous use. The hollow handle is particularly useful since it allows a broom handle to be inserted. This makes it possible to extend the saw to cut branches much higher up.

Great saw, cuts both green and dry wood well
Great saw, cuts both green and dry wood well, mounted on a 6ft aluminium pole and cut back leylandi with little effort, As others have mentioned, it is very sharp and could do with a proper sheath. Well made so should last.
