Q: My nails are soft especially when wet from showering, etc., even this one peels, tried the base coat lasted 2/3 days .prep tips anyone?

I was very unsuccessful with my first attemt having major chipping in 14 hours (8 hrs sleeping). Second attempt I used alcohol swabs then dried with paper towel to take away any possibility of oils left behind. I am on day three with only minor chipping at the tips. I also tried my best to do thin coats of the color, which is difficult because it is thick. The thinner the better. I love the color rubble, but will purchase a more natural color next time to make chipping less evident.

Q: Does this require the nail light?

No nail light is required. You do have to use the top coat for the Polish to bond.
