Best wet food my cat eats
I have a very extremely picky eater for a cat. He also is allergic to chicken and a lot of poultry meat, so being able to buy seafood only related pet foods is great and I feed him the Stella and chewy freeze dried kibble as well with the wet food. I have seen some great improvements in his litter box usage escpailly since he is a senior cat.

Good quality kitten food
My 6 month old kitten has tried a variety of kitten wet foods including Orijen and Wellness Core Kitten Pate. Nutrition-wise, this kitten food is slightly lower in protein content than them, but like Orijen, it has no gums. Stella & Chewy’s kitten formula is comparable in price to Wellness Core’s kitten formula, which is widely regarded as the best kitten pate for the price. Orijen is even more expensive. This product lacks organ meats which are recommended for the richness of vitamins they provide. Wellness Core includes liver, so it wins in that regard. If your cat is sensitive to gums, or it simply likes the flavor more, choose Stella & Chewy’s kitten pate. Otherwise, I think Wellness Core still wins this price bracket.

Stella and Chewy’s now has canned food!
I was excited to find this trustworthy brand had a canned version of their food, it’s news to me! For those who value great ingredients but don’t want to go through the hassle of raw food, these are perfect. I feed my kitten a can of this stuff in the morning, and a hefty portion of the Stella and Chewy’s frozen raw food in the evening. He can be a little picky with food, and this gets his paw print of approval.

NOT a pate. And every cat in the neighborhood refuses to eat!
The media could not be loaded. When I purchase a pate, I expect to get a pate. I'm wanting mostly protein, I'll add my own broth for those that need it. This was around 80% broth, with some pate chunks. I've fed just about every protein to my cats, as I rotate around, never feeding just one brand or protein. They've eaten duck, certainly chicken, rabbit, venison, kangaroo... Heck, even eel! But not one of the FIVE cats currently inside would touch it. Even when I rubbed it along their mouth. That usually works. Oh, I made up my own Churu replacement, as we go through so much. Basically chicken breasts, about 10% liver, and some sardines. My older cat that is ill loves that, and gulps it down. So I added his favorite to this and mixed, and he still wouldn't touch. I then took it out for the ferals. One that kind of lets me get close ran up and started licking, so I went inside so as not to scare her away. I guess that was all she did, as about EIGHT hours later, it was all there, untouched by any cat in the neighborhood... Which is a lot. Nor any of the wild animals running around. This is what you see in the picture I shared. Remember, some cats licked up some of the broth, and of the "solids" you see on the plate, half are what I added. I could see SOME of my inside cats not liking, or taking to it immediately. But ferals and wild animals??? Like a couple of other people mentioned, it makes me wonder if something is a bit off with this batch? Anyway, this is the kind of thing that gets class-action lawsuits started.

Only 3/4 full
The first case I received was a very moist pate and my cats loved it, although every can has been shorted the amount listed. I bought a couple more cases and instead of a smooth pate it is very lumpy. I started weighing the amount in the can and ever can has been shorted the amount listed on the can. The can says 5.2 ounces but the actual food inside is only 4.85 ounces. This is one of the more expensive foods and would appreciate it if the cans actually contains what is written on the can

High quality ingredients & healthy, happy cats!
I switched my cats from dry food to wet food at the beginning of the year and they are as healthy as can be. This food has high quality ingredients that my cats love. While I do wish it was more affordable, it’s understandable why it’s priced the way it is.
