Love it! Love it! Love it! I have a 5 metre high ceiling and my wood burner was sending all the heat straight up so I needed a powerful fan to send the heat back down again. Due to the ceiling height I bought an extension rod of 1.2 m in length for it but it was a pity that Westinghouse themselves don’t offer these. The fan more than does the job and makes a mockery of the wood burning stove fans which I had working previously. The other advantage is that I can flick a switch on the fan to cool the house in the summer. There are just two small quibbles, l) it is noisy (sounds as if the washing machine is on a spin cycle) and also to change from winter to summer setting, the switch is on the top of the fan itself which means climbing up a big ladder to make the bi-yearly adjustments. Otherwise, it certainly does what it says on the box and looks great too. Photos attached

Had many different fans over the years and they all suffered the same problem, noise? On setting 1 my fan is silent and moves enough air to keep a large conservatory comfortable plus the effect is felt in other parts of the house. Increase speed and the motor remains silent but the sound of air passing over the blades becomes noticeable as one would expect. The rod was too long for the height of my ceiling, I used a pipe cutter to remove 5 inches (can cut off more) from the motor end which meant I only had one small hole to drill. No discernible loss in performance.I use my fan to gently move the air around and as such is on daily with no audible interference, it does the job perfectly, if you want to sit in a gale put on 4 and feel the power.Ticks all the box’s, delivery, easy to fit, quality, design, price and looks good to boot.

Nothing to dislike so far. Speed 3 is turbo chargedUpdate after 9 month.The fan started to develop a knocking sound after 9 months. Amazon refunded the full amount immediately. However, after a few days I decided to repurchase the same fan, as I am very impressed with its performance.

Just love this fan. I have bought more expensive, fancy looking fans from local DIY companies but this is much better. Quiet'ish and minimal vibration. Highly recommended.

acquistato per utilizzo in inverno, ho un soffitto molto alto e avevo la necessità di spostare l'aria calda verso il basso. sono estremamente soddisfatto, la temperatura è aumentata di almeno 1°C se non addirittura 2°C. è abbastanza silenzioso, robusto e ben costruito, facile e intuitivo da montare. Ha un comando a 4 velocità, la 1a velocità non è molto lenta ma in effetti non serve. Per la mia applicazione 2 piccoli problemi: 1) il comando a filo non va bene perché non ho la possibilità di portarlo ad altezza di braccio se non utilizzando delle orrende canaline in plastica. Ho risolto brillantemente il problema acquistando su Amazon un telecomando (10 euro), che funziona perfettamente, unico appunto il telecomando ha solo 3 velocità. 2) il commutatore inverno/estate (inverte la rotazione delle pale) è solo sul corpo del ventilatore, non è possibile cambiare da remoto, quest'estate sarò costretto a mettere una scala per commutare.

beau, simple à installer,ventile bien, relativement silencieux (il y a 4 forces de ventilation, la force 1 & 2 sont silencieuse, la 3 & la 4 font un bruit du au bâtement de l'air par les pales métallique).Comme d'habitude, cela conforte cette idée que les produits Made in USA sont très souvent très bien pensé & de très bonne qualité (les produits Germaniques en sont le pendant en Europe)Je recommande vivement.Si vous souhaitez un model plus silencieux, prenez dans cette même marque un model aux pales en bois. (& non en métal comme celui-ci)

Gerade noch rechtzeitig zur Hitzewelle angekommen leistet der Ventilator bei uns schon gute Dienste!Die Montage war relativ einfach (wäre noch einfachter gewesen, wenn ich die Bedienungsanleitung vorher komplett gelesen hätte), man kann den Ventilator "aushängen" und erst den Deckenanschluß in Ruhe anbringen, dann kann der Ventilator einghängt werden und mittels Steckanschlüssen der elektrische Anschluß hergestellt werden. Man merkt schon, das Westinghouse ein paar Jährchen Erfahrung in diesem Bereich hat. Die Flügel sind aus Stahl und werden an den Motorblock angeschraubt - paßt relativ gut und ohne Unwucht.Der 4-Wege-Schalter paßt in eine "normale Einbau-Dose und kann z.B. statt einer Lampe angeschlossen werden (der Ventilator hat KEIN Licht). Etwas unglücklich ist, daß nach der Aus-Stellung erst die "Orkan-Stufe" 4 folgt, zur Stufe eins muß man dann durchschalten. Ist aber kein Problem.Bei uns hängt der Ventilator in ca. 3,5 Höhe (Flügel-Ebene) im Dachspitz eines Satteldaches. In Stufe eins gibt es ein angenehmes Lüftchen, daß auch nachts nicht stört, aber schon etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist (ist halt was anderes als stehende Luft). Stufe 2 weht schon ganz ordentlich, ist uns zum Schlafen schon zu stark. Stufe 3 und 4 sind eher für schnelles Umwälzen der Luft.In Stufe eins läuft der Ventilator fast geräuschlos, ein leichts mechanisches "Mahlen" ist zeitweise zu hören. Aber nicht weiter störend. In Stufe 2 hört man den Motor etwas, dazu kommen leichte Windgeräusche. In Stufe 3 und 4 sind die Windgeräusche deutlich bis laut und übertönen eventuelle Geräusche des Motors. Es könnte aber durchaus sein, daß die Windgeräusche unter einer ebenen Decke nicht so laut sind, die Flügelspitzen sind nur etwas 15 cm von den Balken und ca. 30 cm von den Wänden entfernt.Optisch sieht das Ding aus wie auf den Bildern, ein Ventilator ist ein Ventilator ist ein Ventilator ... die Farbe ist schon ein sehr dunkles kaffeebraun, der Mehrpreis für die weiße Version lohnt sich m.E. nicht.Bei den derzeitigen Wetterverhältnissen eine gute Investition - ein normaler Ventilor kann diese "ruhige" Umwälzung der Luft mit Sicherheit nicht erreichen.ACHTUNG: Für 2,40 "Norm"-Deckenhöhen ist der Deckenventilator nicht geeignet, dann hängen gleich drei Damokles-Schwerter ziemlich knapp über dem Kopf ...

Top lieferung. Einfacher zusammenbau und leichte montage. Ich bin super zufrieden und meine zwei laufen super.

Ist nein dritter bin voll zufrieden.sollte man aber auch niht mit nem 300€ Teil vergleichen.
