Learn OSI then think.
I owe a lot to Todd, not that he knows this.I took my Net+ on order of my manager whilst working at Pearson, over 10 years ago now, but for me was a catharsis. After A+, how can you really understand what is involved in running an enterprise network?Well, in truth this book really scared me. I needed to get a passing exam grade quickly as also needed to teach this to other people, so learnt it quickly. If you have ever had to learn something quickly you will understand the urgency and the need. I objectified the facts for the exam and with the knowledge of the OSI model managed to make this work for me. I then read the revision guide (an abridged version of this book), took several Measureup tests then took and aced the exam.I now swear by the OSI model.TTFNMatthew

I would give a 5 because its a beautifully written and well informative book but I've noticed some of the end of Chapter questions are alittle "weird" Simply because they give you the answers, say the answer is A but in the explanation it says A and D are right but only says A is right officially if that makes sense? And Some of the questions don't say (Choose two) but in the answers, it says two are right. It also doesn't say check all that apply on a few but others it does.Apart from that its a really good book! Its filled in alot of blanks for me :)
