I’ve had the honor to witness behind the scene life events within the Hatton family before, during, and post Gabe’s accident, and I can say first hand what an incredible journey this family has shown the world in how to walk through life’s greatest tragedy and pain.That said, I still found myself deeply emotional in reading, Big, Bold, Brave. Not because of the tragic circumstances, but in the immense amount of hope, inspiration and wisdom for healing in tragedy. Clint Hatton makes it clear the path hasn’t been perfect and it’s still hard and it still hurts but not all is lost.In fact, he reveals it is possible and gives wisdom of walking out the absolute IMPOSSIBLE: That we can have hope, in spite of total tragedy, have permission to grieve, be okay with pain and yet still live life to the fullest. It is amazing to see how someone who has experienced one of the most devastating losses is able to rise from the pit and turn his and his families pain into something God is using to help and encourage others to live BIG BOLD and BRAVE! Only by the power of Jesus! I loved every chapter...the honesty, the heart, the love for family and for others. I found it to be such an encouragement in life and in business. It really made me reflect on the things that are most important in life and to pursue them all the way. One big take away was the power of gratitude and how important it is to always thank God and most importantly in the midst of complete heartbreak. Not for the heartbreak itself, but turning from the heartbreak to God is very powerful. I don't want to give too much away, but I highly recommend reading it. I am still in awe of the love and encouragement this book brings especially from someone who has walked through the toughest thing a parent could experience.

Once I started reading this book, I couldn’t put it down. It was raw and real - giving the reader a front row seat to such a life changing experience. This book was also practical - providing the reader with many points to think about in one’s own unexpected circumstances. Most importantly, it was inspiring - I reflected on the times when I was hesitant to take a risk and this challenged me to be big, bold, and brave!!!I am grateful the author had the courage to pen this so beautifully and I am thankful for their son’s legacy. I highly recommend this book and encourage others to not only get their own copy but also, to buy this as a gift for loved ones.
