Q: Are these waterproof?

Difficult to answer really, part of the is leather so it can be wiped clean and and the rest is microfibre but while microfibre cloths can be washed no softener should be used. In summary they are about as waterproof as the average car seat. I would add they are comfortable in use and allows the seat belt to retract when not in use, this is not true of all such products and they are a real pain so these are a much better buy all round.
