Very nice
Even though it says preseasoned we need to season it again. Follow the instructions for seasoning as we normally do another iron pans. It works great.

The interior is significantly rougher than the black enamel used in Le Creuset or Staub.
I have a 3 quart Le Creuset Balti dish which I love. I purchased this one out of curiosity. It looks just like the Le Creuset, but significantly cheaper. I compared my new purchase with the Le Creuset I have had for several years. This dish weighs 5 pounds 11.2 ounces. The same dish made by Le Creuset weighs less at 5 pounds 4.7 ounces. The thickness of this pan is approximately 1/4 inch. The Le Creuset is 1/8 inch. The interior is significantly rougher than the black enamel used in other pans I have from Le Creuset or Staub. As others have mentioned, it has the feel of a non-enameled cast iron pan before seasoning. The handles are a bit different in size, but not a significant difference. The edge of the pan hasn’t been finished as well as Le Creuset or Staub - it is very rough and uneven in several places. Other than these issues, it appears to be nice pan. My Le Creuset pan is red (cerise). This pan is a darker red, but not so dark that it doesn’t look red. I have used my Balti dish for cooking (stir fries, curries, etc) and for serving at the table. This new one might need more oil to prevent sticking during cooking, but I believe it will be useful. Because it wasn’t finished very well, I gave it only 4 stars.

Cute little balti/wok/kadhai
Enamel finish is smooth and I love the fire red two tone color on the outside. The size is good enough to serve 1-2 people, which is great because I've got bigger and heavier enameled cast iron pots for cooking family sized meals; so this fills the gap and is easier to lift, clean and reuse. If you like to make curries, deep fry, or simply sautee and prep smaller quantities of veggies/meat, this vessel is perfect.Watch for wild fluctuations in price. I bought mine for twenty three dollars the day after it was listed for double that.

Love the pot, however the lid is crap and makes the pot unusable with the lid on.
I purchased this pot to cook Spanish style rice as I didn't want to use an aluminum one. It was preseasoned but since I dont know what oil was used to season it, I washed thoroughly with soap and water several times to remove the coating. I then reseasoned it with organic coconut oil. Then I used it to cook rice. All was going well until I covered it with the wooden lid that came with it. When it was time to remove the lid and stir the rice, I was unable to as the lid swelled and was stuck on the pot. I had to wait until it cooled off completely to continue cooking which took about an hour. Once I stirred the rice I couldn't use the lid for fear of it happening again. I tried using another lid but it is an odd size so no lid would fit. Needless the say the rice was a bust. Thinking this was a fluke I tried on another occasion to use the lid and once again the wooden lid got stuck. So now I have pot which I can't use for the reason I purchased it because the lid is useless. If anyone in the company is listening please make a real lid available and send me one or I will be forced to return this and go to a store to buy a cast iron caldero with a REAL lid.
