Martha Stewart's Newlywed Kitchen: Recipes for Weeknight Dinners and Easy, Casual Gatherings: A Cookbook

This is my favorite go-to cookbook. It has a great variety of recipes, and most of them only need a handful of common ingredients. I have a few other very beautiful, curated books, but they tend to use obscure ingredients. This one doesn’t! This book is full of great photos, and the instructions are detailed, but simple. We really loved the pan-fried steak with mustard cream sauce, creamy baked acorn squash, and warm chocolate pudding cakes. Highly recommend this book, especially for those just learning to cook or looking for some simple inspiration.

Excellent book for the kitchen, we are not newlyweds but love to cook and bake. The guide at the beginning of the book around kitchen tools was useful and the recipes throughout were practical and enticing. The recipes don't seem overwhelming in their complexity which is great, and the photography was also well done.

I try to always buy gifts for wedding showers straight from the registry however, it gets a bit boring. I purchased this book as an additional item to the kitchen items from the couple’s registry. It was a nice added surprise. The book has recipes for those who are experienced chefs or just beginner cooks. The food is nothing too fancy but all look delicious.

We ordered this for my daughter to use as a guest book for her wedding reception.....SO PERFECT!!! People signed on the page they wanted next to a great recipe...can't wait for her to read and cook.

Cute book - perfect for those who are experienced cooks or not. I bought this for myself and enjoy having it in my collection, although it probably won't get a ton of use. I typically like to cook larger meals for leftovers. Also, Cook's Illustrated Cooking for Two has a lot more recipes if you're looking for more of a reference text.

great shower gift

I borrowed this book from the library and ended up renewing it 3 times. That's when I knew I had to actually buy it. I've made so many recipes from this book, they are super easy to make, delicious, and never require expensive or weird ingredients. All the recipes are very affordable and nutritious. I keep going back to it again and again. The images are also beautiful and the directions are easy to follow. Definitely recommend!!
