I bought this hat on the flip of a coin, and had it shipped all the way to New Zealand. Quite pricy, but worth it. Never gotten so many compliments on any article of clothing I've worn in my life. Size was pretty much exactly right even from the measurements of an amateur like myself (Just take 5 minutes to check the measurement using a tutorial or something before you buy, it'll fit).Anyways, I had no idea if this thing would be durable in the rain, so I tested it. First photo is when it got almost completely soaked in a bout of heavy rain this afternoon, the second photo is 5 hours later. I haven't gone to bed yet, but I imagine it'll be dry by morning. You might want some waterproofing spray if you intend to wear it in super rainy conditions, but it should be fine in most weather. It keeps shape nicely and is very durable. I could probably run it over with a truck and it'd walk away without a scratch (But I never would). It's also quite comfortable. Although it does get sweaty (Hint hint, it's a felt hat), it's not unbearable to wear when it's hot out. I imagine this would keep your head warm in cold weather as well, so it's a good hat for most conditions.Overall, it's a very good hat. It holds its weight. I don't really have anything to complain about except the price, but I'm not even going to complain about that because it's worth the money. If it didn't function at all I wouldn't bother saying any of this, but it does, so I do. If it feels a bit big or rigid, just give it a couple weeks. I got mine about a month ago, and it's broken in very well. Also, probably better to get a size up than a size down, since you can always just pad it.If you have the money and the inclination, I highly recommend this hat.

As usual, Stetson comes through. The hat is the perfect shape-not too high on the brim not too flat either, with a perfect pinch-front crown. John Wayne and Ronald Reagan would love this hat! It’s a great look and will look great on everyone. Thank you, again, Stetson & Company!

The hat was as expected, I have others in the buffalo collection. I measure 7-1/8 the hat was a bit larger. Weather strip tape under the band did the trick, perfect fit. The vendor, Outland boxed over the Stetson box. Four days from order to delivery. Fedex threw the box on my steps.I recommend the hat, very attractive, and I recommend Outland, fair price, others were much higher by 30 dollars.Well done, satisfied hat man.

Excellent hat! Felt is good quality and the hat looks real nice when ya dress up for it. Get a lot of compliments on it. I ordered a size too small on accident, but I have a stretcher and a steamer, so no big deal. Great seller too, A+ from me! Shipping was fast and it did arrive earlier by a day if I recall.

I really like this hat! It is the first of the 3 Stetsons I've purchased that I really like wearing. The primary reason I love it is the 3 1/2" hat brim. My other two Stetson's are the Apache (Black) and the Powder River (brown). Both of which have a 4" hat brim. It's seems odd that only a 1/2" would make a difference, but it really does. I rarely ever wore the other two Stetsons in favor of an Atwood straw hat which has a 3 1/2" hat brim and low crown. It is nice to have finally found a Stetson felt hat that I like as much as my Atwood.I needed a 7 3/8" but that option was not available. I ordered a 7 1/4" and used a hat stretcher to get it where I needed it. It fits perfect now. The hat band had to go immediately. Stetson put a very cheap, poorly designed hat band on the hat. That was an added $20 buying a proper braided leather hat band. That seems to be Stetson's MO, I had to remove a cheap felt hat band from the Apache. I've had my eye on this hat since mid-2019 and I finally decided to buy it. I could not be happier with this purchase.I love the pinched front and the overall shape of the brim. Even the hatband sexy.I was concerned about the color. A lot of the pictures from other reviewers look like they were taken in bad lighting, so it was hard to know what to actually expect. It's definitely more of a "sand" color than "silver." (I don't know why the word silver is even in the color description to be honest...)It's almost a khaki color, or maybe like safari hats in old movies? But as soon as I took it out of the box I knew I loved the color, the look, the shape, everything. For the price range, this is an extremely nice looking hat. I'd almost be embarrassed to just throw this hat on with a t-shirt or what not to go to the grocery store; it feels like it's a bit more formal than all that.The one thing I can't figure out is they made the brim a bit thicker than other fur or wool hats. (At least the hats I've seen.) I don't know why they did this? It puzzles me, but honestly, it doesn't detract in any way from me liking this hat - or from other people giving me compliments on it.It was tight out of the box. I'm 7 3/4 and that's the size I ordered, so I know it's the right fit. It's just not the right shape yet to fit my head. I know there are hat stretchers and such for this thing, but in the few days I've had this hat, it's started to give just a little, and each time I put it on it feels a little more comfortable than before, so I think it's just a matter of time until it fits itself to my head just so.All around I really love this hat. It's about as close as I could come to walking into a hat store, describing my ideal cowboy hat, and having one custom made just for me. (Only this hat is a lot cheaper than that hahaha!)If you're on the fence, my recommendation is to buy this hat. It's really, really nice.

I like this hat, it is softer than I thought in comparison to the Justin Hat I have. It is comfy right out of the box. I look forward to trying out other hats as well. This was my first Cowboy hat so I am not experienced to say weather it is great or poor quality.. I enjoy wearing and it keeps sun off face n neck.
