I really like this headlamp! It's made of metal and seems very strong. During ski season I used it while sledding home after dinner from a Swiss mountaintop restaurant at night. Yes, Switzerland and sledding!. I crashed a couple of times into huge snowdrifts and the light kept working even though it was covered with snow. It's really bright, I mean, crazy bright. I found that if I set the brightness down, it's still bright enough for almost everything and the battery lasts a really long time. Longer than I expected. I recently took it camping and we had a flat tire coming home. Even though I used it all weekend, it still had enough juice to use to change the tire. I definitely recommend this light and I think I might get the red one, because a blinking red light would have been nice while changing the tire. Great gift for your outdoor friends!

I love this headlamp. It provides excellent bright light, and also features a red lamp which is great for walking my dog in the woods at night, esp since it doesn’t dilate my pupils so I can still use my peripheral vision. I also appreciate that it lights up a broad area. Finally, the construction feels totally solid and the price is great!

Light worked great for about the first sixty days. Then it started giving me trouble. It wouldn't work all the time. I quit using it and bought something else.Update: The company offered a full refund. I'm very impressed that they stand behind their products.

I initially purchased this headlamp for a camping trip, and past that, I wasn't sure how more I would use it. To my surprise, I use it all the time, from taking garbage out at night, replacing a light fixture in a dark basement, walking my dog at night. It's much easier to use then a flashlight, for home repairs. It's incredibly bright, I don't even usually use it, on its brightest setting. The battery seems to last forever. I purchased my headlamp in November, and I only had to recharge it once, and I do use it a lot. I plan on ordering 3 more for my two kids and wife, just to leave in their cars for emergency's. It would be much easier changing a tire in the dark with this headlamp then a flashlight. Since it's re-chargeable, you can just re-charge it in your car.

We have purchased these twice now, maybe 6-8 units total to mount on hard hats for brighter vision. To quote our Operations Manager "they are awesome!". We even have one guy who uses one after work to build high end Lego kits. And the price is incredibly reasonable, we will continue to keep these around our plant for anyone who wants one, we highly recommend.

This headlamp far exceeded my expectations. It has a much better build quality than any of my other headlamps and seems very sturdy. No plastic. I bought their lowest lumens model and it’s really bright, so I can only imagine what their ultra bright model is like. And I like that it goes a long time between charges. I think I’ve only recharged it once since I bought it. I’m thinking about buying the red/white version because we live on a dark road and it might be good when we go for walks.

This is a simple high/low/tilting/dimming headlamp but has great features like a fully aluminum body and a twist to focus lens that goes from flood to spot. It comes with a rechargeable / replaceable 18650 Li-ion battery that is housed in the end opposite the push button. Just twist cap to open and remove protective plastic shield on battery to activate it. Push button end twists off partially to reveal USB charging port. When plugged in to a USB outlet, the push button glows red to indicate charging and then green to indicate fully charged. Lens is frosted by design.

I’m really pleased with this head lamp! The carrying case for it is very compact and light. The double tapping function to elicit a different lighting style works really well. The band is soft and stays in place well (and I have a smaller head). It doesn’t feel to bulky or heavy while wearing it. This will be awesome for lake night walks and camping trips. The only challenge with this product was finding the charging port. Once I figured out to untwist the non-battery side it was very easy to plug in and having it concealed makes me less concerned about it getting wet/dirty, so it’s actually a pretty cleaver design.
