For small boats
It is small, lightweight, and a 4 cycle, so no mixing fuel with oil needed. Easy to put together and started on second pull. I seriously doubt it is a 4 hp engine, more like a 2.5-3 hp, but should be good enough for moving my 14 ft semi-V fishing boat anywhere I go fishing.

2hp not 4hp, BUT..... I like it.
Review part 1.Right out of the destroyed boxes(2) I saw a big 4STROKE sticker, not 4hp sticker on it. A quick look in the included manual confirms its output is 1.6kW, equal to about 2.1hp. That being said. It's a nice tight little outboard motor. After filling the fluids, it started on the second pull. It idled smooth, and throttled up and down smooth as well. No leaks, no noises, and it's quieter than my weed whaker. After shutdown it restarted hot on the first pull. And after cool down, it started again on the first pull.No ID numbers at all, anywhere on it or the manuals it came with. Seller was trying to find out more info from the manufacturer. Missouri hwy ptrl are able to request numbers from the state. So it's legal.First impressions are good. I'm disappointed about the false power rating. But, I like this little outboard. I will post more after a lake test. I will be using it on a 12 foot john boat about 100 lbs empty.Part two after water testIt starts on the first pull every time with little effort. It runs pretty smooth, with a little vibration that seemed to get smoother after several runs. I was able to get 5mph alone and 4mph with a rider. All in all I love this little motor. I even caught about a 2lb largemouth bass on the first run. I will return for a long test review after some time.
