Croydex AA101022 Push-Fit Wash Basin Shampoo Spray, White,26 x 22 x 2.5cm

I always meant to buy one of these when I had my previous Westie but after getting my new Westie puppy I knew I definitely had to get one as he was in and out of the bath pretty frequently. Opening the pack on these things is always a problem but the next thing is fitting it to your taps. It's a tight fit depending on what style of taps you have and it may help to heat the rubber in some warm water first just to make it a bit more flexible as it can take a fair bit of pushing to get these on. Once on I have kept mine on. I am reluctant to go through the pushing and pulling each time and as we only use the bath for the dog then it's no problem. I had thought that even with the taps turned on no water would come through the spray unless the button at the end was pressed. This wan't the case, the water still comes through although unlike other sprays it doesn't just go everywhere but gently flows from it, so it is no problem to use the soap etc while the spray head is just sitting on the bottom of the bath. Once you press the end piece you get a spray jet which is more than adequate for rinsing hair or bathing the dog. It can sometimes be a little difficult to keep the spray pressed with one hand while directing it towards certain parts of your dog as the hose is not the longest and it is also fairly stiff. The hose being fairly stiff is maybe a bonus as it also means it is durable and my puppy has taking to biting it... I think the pressure of the spray jet will be determined by the water pressure you have. As we have a combi boiler on a different floor our water pressure is not the greatest but it still produces an adequate spray jet.

Apertures for taps far too small for quite small bath taps. No matter how much coaxing, pushing, warming and wiggling, these are never going attach sufficiently. Returning for a refund and will buy from a shop where you can actually see clearly for an item which needs to be precise.

I have used many of these tap shower heads in the past but have always had the common issue of them not fitting the taps properly and ending up with water spraying out from the connectors all over the bathroom. This one is the best we've tried. The connectors that go on the taps are very tight and no water leaks out from the plastic seals, in fact they are very tight and I did struggle for the first few times using this to remove it from the taps after use. The connectors 'give' a little bit after a few uses, just enough to make them easier to remove from the taps but not leak at all. The shower head has a push button at the top which gives a very strong stream of water but is quite fiddly to keep pushed down, and may be an issue if you have hand problems such as arthritis. We had the same model as this previously and it lasted for nearly a year of daily use before it fell apart so was really good value for money, we were so impressed we have just re purchased the same one and hope it lasts as long as the last one! Would recommend.

Described to fit up to 2 cm tap but was far too stiff and hard to fit onto my 2 cm bathroom taps. Very disappointed. Otherwise good quality product.

Just needed a temporary fix as hot tap on bath not working so whilst waiting for a plumber few days shoved these on my sink taps and they stayed on even after massive pressure coming thru ! The holes were tiny and didn’t think they would fit the Victorian basin taps needed quite a hefty push to secure but once in dealt with the high pressure I could trail over to bath and fill the bath so excellent fix temporarily and worth hanging on to if you want to wash hair in basin.

Had problems fixing to taps and water came out of sides as well. The value and performance are not what you expect from Croydex
