This is a nice set. The tiles are solid. The colors are good. The aluminum case is nice. Comes with chips, dice, direction marker.Overall a really nice set.My only possible negative would be I may not trust the handle of the case with the weight of all the tiles.

As far as I’m concerned, this mahjong set is perfect. The tiles are nice and big, the graphics are carved and painted well, and the tiles are heavy enough that they don’t fly off the table when you move them around. They come in a nice sturdy case, so the packed kit is pretty heavy. I’m very pleased with this set, and I think it’s going to hold up well.

Great tiles but NO trays to store the tiles in the case. It makes for a noisy dumping out of the tiles and a much harder than necessary tidy up of the tiles. The tiles and the case are lovely.

Nice feel in the hand, move easily to build walls. Bamboos and Circles have good contrast. Just remember the weight is about 14 pounds with the case.

The tiles were well made, easy to read.(too easy for one of the South tiles) One tile "South" was a lighter green than the rest of the set and could be picked out of the complete set after shuffle. I asked for a replacement tile and the seller refused and said to use the provided "blank" tile. I explained that the blank tile is used for MY mistake(lost or damaged tile) and should not be used to cover a manufacture defect. The value for the money rating gets bottomed out when I have to return something.... I returned the set the next day and bought a proper set from Yellow Mountain Imports. The YMI set is Excellent as expected.

Its hard to play with this mahjong set unless your professional or plays mahjong all the time.

The tiles look nice and durable. They feel good, weighted and the carvings were deep enough. The instructions sent are nice although I assume most of the people buying this already know how to play. The characters are etched into the tile, so no having to worry about the ink rubbing off. The aluminum case appears to be sturdy. An around great products and excellent packaging.
