A really good iron, very happy with the product

I needed to replace my old Philips iron that was playing up and refusing to steam any more. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but want something that did the job. This is a mid-weight iron. The first thing I noticed was that it seemed to get up to full heat in about 15 seconds. The steam function works well and it got deep creases out of jeans that had been dried indoors. I don't use and iron much in the winter, but wear 100% cotton t-shirts all summer that need ironing. I'm confident this will do the job. A great iron for the price (and I love anything red)

I’ve been using this iron for a couple of months now, and it does a great job. As others have commented in reviews, the water tank is large and the filler jug is small, but that’s a small thing. It’s very efficient and removes creases from clothing with almost no effort on my part. It’s a medium lightweight iron, and the long lead is great, means you can iron anywhere rather than very near to a plug socket. The design fault relates to the lid for the water reservoir, which comes off very easily and is difficult to put back into place. I’ve not seen this fault on any other reviews, so it may just be a problem with my iron - rather annoying but not a deal breaker, as I really like the iron.

Lighter weight than the cordless iron I’ve been using (which was why I chose to purchase a new iron). Stream is adequate for the laundry I wish to iron. I like the long cord.

Very easy to use. Good on awkward creases and has decent length cord.

Returned iron as black spots of something kept appearing on the soleplate. Otherwise was great to iron with, good steam.

I bought this Russell Hobbs to replace my old one that was a little bit more expensive but this Ultra steam pro 2600w is nearly as good, I'm happy with it and the colour matching my ironing board cover. It's got plenty of steam for cotton.
