A good size and withstood a blustery wind, but quite heavy and on the large side to put into the average handbag.

Nice lightweight umbrella but can't withstand STRONG wind. Still a good product though.

It's a nice umbrella with an easy to use push button to open action. It does have a strong spring so pushing it back down might be harder for frail people but most it should be OK. Having used it now 3 or 4 times the last time I was out with it we did have some gusty winds but the weather forecast said about 40 mph. Some gusts did fell a little faster than that but well below the listed Storm proof 87 mph listed. Unfortunately several times the Umbrella did turn inside out, which in my opinion if it says storm proof then that should not of been happening. It didn't however brake and still seems in as good condition as when purchased. I am a little disappointed as I purposely brought this Umbrella as I wanted one that would hold it's shape when the wind was up.

Scam!This umbrella started out great. It was really sturdy, water droplets just ran off the top if it. It was exactly what I wanted.Fast forward about 6 months later, and it can't withstand a slight breeze. I don't know why, or what changed. I assume the ribs or springs loosened or something, but when I take it out in the slightest wind, this thing will immediately turn inside out. I mean ridiculous level stuff, it'd almost turn in on itself at a hint of a slight draft indoors.No problem, I thought, I'll contact the seller and ask for a refund or replacement. The ad clearly states that there's a LIFETIME WARRANTY. I sent them an email. They didn't reply. I sent them a reminder. They wanted a picture. A picture of what? How do you photograph how easily an umbrella turns inside out? I sent them photos anyway. No reply. I sent a reminder email. Still no reply.I contacted Amazon, who said they can only help within the first 6 months, and I'm just outside that period. They advised me to contact the seller. I did, and they're not replying. It'd seem you're allowed to lie in an Amazon ad, so long as the problem happens after 6 months.I wanted to buy a decent umbrella so that I didn't have to keep replacing it. Buy this one and you'll be replacing it at least a couple of times a year.

While the design overall is sturdy (for the price) it is let down by the fact that it is all held together at the top by a flimsy wire strap. Lasted around a year and a half, got around 30 days use out of it. I think i will avoid this brand next time.

Good umbrella but..... has 1 design flaw!Opens well however the but open button also closes the umbrella, and can be easily done when holding the handle, also once is closes, you have to fully close the umbrella before you can re-open it! Found out the hard way in the pouring rain! However it is very sturdy!

Used it a few times now in bad weather still going strong, you can tell right away this thing is far far superior to the £5-10 junk sold in supermarkets, been in a few windy storms with no issues at all,

Excellent umbrella! It lost a star merely because it is impossible to use the cover it came in - how do they wrap them up so tight in the factory.....Excellent quality and it withstood the high winds we had recently with no trouble at all.
