all with a single LED chip
great value. the build quality is perfect. each lamp worked and had no imperfections. the deep, mirrored internals make effective use of the single LED chip. they are less "cool-white" than the other "6,000K cool white" temp lights i ordered and mounted with these. they are truly spot lights meant to reach out beyond your high-beams. all the photos of the item are accurate.

Great lights, easy hook up
Great lights, easy hook up. I wouldn't call them a "pencil beam", but they are pretty tight. They light up a reflective sign at almost a mile. Here in rural MT there are lots of things on the highway at night that I don't want to hit. I taken them through the carwash several times with no leaks, and they work at -20 degrees. Great lights.

Powerful small lights!
I live in N/E PA, surrounded by forest... IT GET'S DARK HERE! Had Hella Halogen driving lamps on wife's Mini Countryman, they did a generally OK job giving a wide illumination pattern about 70 yard down the road, not great light. Replaced them with the Audak lights, a bit deeper but Mini mounts were easy to adapt. I am now punching a relatively good hole in the night going down to 100 yds easy. They are pencil beams so all light is much more concentrated on central focus and don't have as much side scatter - but regular headlights fill in that area. Only concern is how long the poly-carbonate "glass" will last, but I can replace that with real glass when time comes. At the price, I don't think you buy a better small LED light canon.

These things have serious REACH!
I replaced a set of 7 inch mini-lightbars on my Jeep's cowling. Those were replacements for 10 year old flaky operating HID's that I did like a lot. (Assuming they would ignite and actually work, and it was a 50% chance they would) The thing about multi-element LED's is they do blast everything up to a few hundred feet in what looks like daylight, but they lack the long reach of a single element light such as these. These are narrow spots with minor side spill. These are quality made, cast aluminum brackets, and have all aluminum parts. I'm not sure, but the lens face may be poly-carbonate. A set of KC "mad eyes" 5" covers fit perfectly, and some states require off-road lights to be covered on the highway anyway. They look good on the Jeep, the face looks more like a traditional round halogen light with no weird reflections. If you want to see out to about 2,000 feet, you need a pair of these.

Sooooo BAAAAD
If I could give them the goose egg, I would. Not bright at all. Beam is weak to say the least! Like a cheap $2.00 flash light, maybe worse!

Wish they still sold them.
My only gripe which isn't one really, was that it was marked $128 forever and I kept waiting for it to become cheaper checking on the price nearly every 2 days lol as at the time there was only one or two reviews without any pictures and they were a light in which I hadn't seen so I was like eh Ill wait... Well I finally bit the bullet and bought them and I swear the next day I rechecked my purchase and they went down $30, had I know that I probably would have got 2 pairs. Anyhow they are worth the price. Hell yeah! They have a great SPOT which is hard to find in cheap leds unless you want a Rigid.. I took the plexi glass out by removing the 4 screws on the front and taking it in to a glass shop where they cut new lens out of auto safety glass for $3 a light, not bad... why?? well I live in AZ and even if you garage your rig 80% of the time the sun and heat I found will turn the plexi glass yellowish over time which GREATLY reduces the light output. This may be more prone to my climate but Im sure others may encounter that issue, but now when you look at the lights its as if there is no lens its that much clearer. Also while doing this or even if you dont you should at least take the 4 screws out and put silicone and seal it better.

Not as expected
Beautiful lights, but does not shoot out as expected. I removed two 6" HID's to for these and thought they work, look great, they don't have the power and reach I expected. Guess its back to HID :-(

Good range, and bright.
Tested the 5" round spot beam LED lights. The range is impressive for such a small lamp. I am going to run 4 of them on my rally car. The lights were easily lighting up trees that were 200 feet away, with a strong light hot zone. I wouldn't be surprised if they get out to 350-400 feet range.
