Intelex Cozy Plush Microwaveable Warmer - Elephant

This is adorable but unfortunately placing it in the microwave for the specified time is not sufficient. It comes out barely lukewarm. It was useless for its purpose at that temperature so I eventually gave in a put it in for longer but, as i had feared, it came out smelling awful and anything it touched smelt musty, even after it had cooled down. I felt guilty, but had to chuck it after just three uses.

I have memories of getting burned by hot water bottles and was pleased to buy this to try a microwaveable warmer out. My son loves it. The seeds make it feel quite nice to cuddle, as well as give the lovely lavender odour (which is supposed to be quite soothing and aid sleep).It retained the warmth for some hours, so was very helpful in cold weather (my son was sleeping in a very cold room while we were fixing the problem).Of course, you can only wipe the figure down rather than wash it, so its difficult to keep clean, but at this price (£6.45) they are fairly easy to replace. I'd have no hesitation in buying another one, they're the sort of thing that make you smile just looking at them.

This was purchased as a present for my girlfriend. She loves it, and heats it up regularly before bed to keep her warm.She did say that the smell was quite strong initially, but this was by no means a negative and quickly became less overpowering.This was the short review she provided me with, in her own words:"Soft and very cuddly! I've never been a fan of water bottles, the thought of putting near boiling hot water near my skin sounds like a terrible idea and I definitely would not left my family use them. But here we have the perfect alternative, a safe way to keep warm. For the price it's an absolute bargain, there's no wasting of water, simply pop it into the microwave, heat it up and it stays warm for hours. It's great for kids because they can just hold/cuddle it. Does give off a slight smell at first but you get used to it/it passes over time. An issue with these I feel is that the smell of lavender passes over time, but this can probably be resolved by buying some lavender drops if this really affects anyone.

my little girl loves this elephant. its quite big and heavy. also she's had it at least a year but when you warm it up it still comes out damp. like it's wet to the touch.it still smells strong to. lovely and soft an fluffy. i got this one as you dont have to take the wheat bag out. the only reason why i didnt give it 5 stars was because of the damp. after a year of heating its still doing it.

My son adores his elephant goes to bed with him every night even in summer without warming it up and now coming into winter months we put "lavender" in the microwave so shes nice and toastie. Become a comfort teddy for my son he wont be without elephant, he has to come on holiday too to help him sleep. Cute useful had few months still going strong, arrived quickly, would buy again.

This is a perfect gift for anyone but especially children or the lady in your life. It warms really well and doesn't get too hot. Also the heated part isn't too heavy so it's comfy to hold

The item arrived and it was so soft and cute. However after no more than 3 times in the microwave (at the right heat and time) it burnt a hole and then stunk the house out. Really sad as the item looked super cute.
