Fun toy
I had to return this because it scared my daughter, but it was a really fun, cute product, and I may try again when she gets older and order it again.

Hot cocoa fund
I got this themed Santa Claus piggy bank as a way to welcome the holidays. The idea was that the elf would leave little coins throughout December to put in the “hot cocoa fund” to be used for goodies before Christmas light drives. Throughout december, all the little monetary gifts and coins were snatched up by this Santa to be saved for a delicious Christmas cafe trip. I would also recommend this as a donation piggy bank where perhaps your family can put spare change in through the holidays and then use the funds to donate or buy donatable perishables. It’s always worth it to see the joy and surprise from the kids when Santa pops up and grabs their coin. It’s such a fun and unique way to welcome the holidays and i would recommend this piggy bank to others.

Fun, but a cheap toy from China.
My son got the «hungry dog» for his birthday, and it stopped working almost immediately. One of the wires in the coin compartment had come loose, and I had to solder it back. Very cheap quality!

So fun to use!
This little Santa piggy bank is just adorable. It was easy to set up, just add batteries and turn it on. To make it work, you set a coin in the coin area on top, press down and some Christmas music starts, then Santa peeks out and pulls the coin in. It is fun to watch. My 5 year old was delighted! (Honestly, the rest of us were too–it’s just so cute and fun!) Of course, after trying it once, you want to do it over and over, so we tried it out with several more coins. Then we tested how difficult it is to remove coins from the piggy bank. It was a little hard for my 5 year old to do the first time, but now he’s an old pro. This would make a delightful gift, or is just fun to have around the house. It is definitely motivating to add money to just so you can see Santa peek out and pull the coin in. It is made of an easy to break plastic, so you want to watch younger kids with it so they won’t drop it. I think it would crack easily.I highly recommend this for a gift or just to keep for yourself!
