Heat up well
These seem really good ones, heat up better than others I've tried. I put them inside my gloves on the backs of hands, that's how they work best for me, invaluable when looking after animals outside on cold mornings. Then they keep warm in pockets for much of the day -

Hand warmers. Just what is needed for a morning of clay shooting
Nice little air activated hand warmers. Small enough to put in gloves or wellies. Not sure they do 12 hours, but I have never needed them for that long. Good value for money
