Wire colors may not be what is listed. Mine were red, white and blue with data white. There is a small arrow on the PCB in the individual lights. The arrow marks the data terminal. On mine it is white and in the middle. My lights are not working yet. There is some information on the internet the refers to the voltage levels as a potential problem. If the power is much higher than the data voltage it could be a problem. So 5v power might not work with 3.3v data. It would be nice if these came with a little information in the box or a link to some information on the web that was easy to find. I gave 2 stars because they don’t work and no information. I think that they may work eventually.

The first set I had to sent back for a refund. The first set had issue with some of the lights. The second set works like a charm. So far 50/50 if you get a bad batch you have try again. I need to have another set to know if it which. Was the first the flute that it was bad or is the second great working set the flute.

The description lists orange as power and white as ground then green as data. However the strands are orange white and blue wires.White is DATA!!!Orange/Red is + and blue is ground.It doesn't seem like wiring these wrong caused any permanent issues but it cost me a bit of time.
