Keeps dust from falling into bathroom’
Everyone should have one of these over their bathroom ceiling fan. Self sticking but needs tape too.

Try to find different brand with a stickier adhesive

Make sure you make it large enough to cover the whole heat vent.
I use this on my older home heat vent that has a toggle switch to open or close the vent. I had to make a hole in the material to allow the toggle switch available. Make sure that you make a large enough cutting to fit the whole vent. I did have some difficulty with the airflow, being too strong for the glue strip areas to hold it down. My suggestion to the manufacture is to make it with a more substantial glue strip. Other than that, my main use for this was to collect any dust particles being omitted into my room.

Great filter!
Easy to install, really helps keep fans clean. Great for dust collection. Will definitely buy more!

Adhesive Not Great
Did not adhere well to my vent. Vent area was on the side of the vent and had a graduated incline (similar to side of pyramid). Perhaps this product works fine on a flat area, but not quite up to my needs.

Not only a Dust Filter but a BUG Prevention method
These dust filters are great! There is a thin film you remove and you place them on the ventilation fan. I used them for my bathroom and laundry areas. The primary reason I bought them was because I had roaches crawling through the vent and they would fall on top of my toilet! Yuck! In the 15 years I have been living in my house, this has never happened but they find their way in over time. So far, the adhesive has been fine and has not come undone. The picture I took shows without the product being cut, but it is easy to trim and will fit exactly the size of your vent. I highly recommend. Less dust! Less BUGS!

Works surprisingly well!
My bathroom vent was depositing horrible dust everywhere. My white bathmat consistently turned dark grey, which was really disturbing. I purchased these vent blockers on a whim, and it's been a total gamechanger. It's a little hard to install (you'll want a really high step stool, since it needs to be firmly pressed on) and it looks a little flimsy, but it does stay on, and it works!
