My clothes range from size 16 to XXL, so I ordered these in XXL and they were skin-right; they were also longer than I expected, down past my butt. (I'm short and round.) Need to be tucked in because they keep rolling up. But they are soft, I'll say that. I'll keep them since it's a hassle to return, and I was just going to wear them under other tops anyway. But do order up a size.
