Perfect for A5 paper, either Filofax, Bind or Quo Vadis. Adequate for smaller sizes, including Personal and Pocket.
This hole punch is the best I've owned for a six hole organiser. It's smoother, and can handle more paper at once, than the Filofax punch. It has a paper guide for A5, absence of which is a fatal shortcoming of the Rapesco alternative. The punch is adjustable. The two sets of three punches can be slid in and out as a unit. In the outermost position, the punch will perforate for an A5 Filofax/Bind. The next position in will work for Quo Vadis A5, or Filofax Personal. The next is A6, and the innermost is for Filofax Pocket, with all six holes evenly spaced.Unfortunately, the paper guide can't move down for smaller than A5 paper, so for Personal, A6, Pocket and A7 paper one is required to make use of the edge marks indented in the front of the punch. They are fairly accurate, but not as accurate as the plastic paper guide. Because it must be lined up by eye, it does take a little longer to punch smaller sizes of paper correctly. There is also a centre mark, allowing one to fold odd sizes of paper in order to punch in the centre of the paper's edge. The punch can leak chad (the punched-out paper circles) if turned upside down, but is generally secure when the right way up. It's very easy to open and empty out the chad. It's a well made punch, with a smooth action and a satisfying bite. If you only want one punch for several sizes of paper, or if you want the best punch for A5, get this one.

Much better than expected
I wanted a 6 hole A5 paper size punch and found that there are several sizes of paper that are nearly A5 that have six holes. I tried one that punched three holes and then you had to turn the paper and punch the other three, but wasn't particularly successful in lining the paper up. I was a bit wary of this one because I wasn't sure what the spacings were, but I shouldn't have worried. I've put a photograph of the box to show the flexibility of this punch. It's simply superb at what it does. Very solidly built too, except for the small flat springs holding the sliding mechanism, but since I don't think I'll ever be resetting it after the first setting that doesn't bother me too much.Doesn't take as many sheets at once as some, but as all the holes are always in the correct place I'm not too bothered about that either.Would I buy it again? Yes, definitely.

Total customisation
After a long, long hunt I finally managed to track down a small (handbag/pocket-sized) ring binder. Effectively a far simpler, more compact, more customisable, Filofax.Unfortunately, although this ring binder is still around (I first had one in the early 1970s!), the paper to fit it isn't - so it's necessary to cut your own. This is fine, and not a particular problem - but then finding a punch with the right hole-spacing was definitely a problem.I tried a lot of different punches (Filofax and Rapesco included), but none of them were sufficiently customisable. This Bind punch, I'm pretty convinced, is the only one which actually is properly customisable. This punch isn't cheap - but it's one hell of a lot cheaper than buying special refill paper (even if you can get it for your particular organiser). You can make very slight adjustments to both the spacing of the rings sets (two sets of three) and to the paper guide. As I bought this punch for just one particular binder, I've set the adjustments in stone (or actually in Sugru: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sugru-Mouldable-Glue-Original-Formula/dp/B01BFE0KNQ/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=Sugru&qid=1557975601&s=gateway&sr=8-2), so now it's just a simple procedure of putting the cut sheets into the Bind punch, punching the holes, and that's it.I'm so pleased. I'm completely tech-savvy and carry at least one computer (as in netbook/mobile/tablet/other device) around with me at all times - but sometimes only pen and paper will do. (Quite apart from security issues...) And when you need a pen and paper it has to be the right pen and the right paper, and customising is the way to go.If you're of the same mind, you need this punch. Absolutely excellent - and saves you a bomb in the long run.

Very useful hole punch
With three sizes of Filofax, and often creating custom pages, I only had a personal size punch. Totally unable to perfect the flip method for A5 pages, I have searched for a long time to find a solution to my problem. This punch does it all and does it very well. It is sturdy, feels well made and solid. The markings on the front could be better defined - I struggled to set the placing for pocket pages, eventually realising the marks were actually there but unclear to me. It is also possible to punch B paper sizes, which could be useful fo some people. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.

Make your life easy and get this hole punch, don't dilly dally around with other makeshift options.
This dedicated for filofax hole puncher is a game changer! Thank heavens for this product! As an eclectic artist I have a lot of offcuts of paper laying around, which I recently cut to size and hole punched to create my own filofax filler papers. This is eventually going to save me a lot of money. It was a bit of a hard decision to purchase this hole punch because it is so pricy to begin with, but sometimes cheaper short cuts are not worth it, so I went and got the proper thing. I am SUPER happy with my decision and was finally able to revive my dormant filofax and replenish it with a variety of paper fillings.I punch holes into 3 - 8 sheets at a time. It all depends on the thickness of your paper. I really think it's great quality.
