I am pretty happy with this product. It’s pretty easy to apply once you figure it out. I’m not great at applying nail polish but clear I can do. So apply a base coat first. Then it’s important that you wait until the base coat is completely dry. The just pat some of this on. I just used my fingertips. Then you have to sort of rub it in to make it shiny. And wipe off the excess. Then a top coat. Its very professional looking and the color is really pretty. I’m going to buy other colors now.

After reading the reviews, I was a little nervous to buy this. There were complaints that the amount you get is not worth it. After getting it, yes, it’s a small amount, but you only need very little if you do it right. I was super pleased with the results, and this small jar should last multiple applications.I started with dipped nails, color bright white, then I coated them with Gellish no wipe top coat. I put them under the UV light for about 60 seconds. I then experimented between wiping them down quickly with acetone, and alcohol, to make the surface a little tacky. I preferred the acetone- seemed to work better. I then applied the powder after wiping them down, pressing firmly in little circles, starting at the cuticle, until you get the desired effect.After it’s all applied, I slightly wiped them down with a paper towel (I heard someone else mention to use their finger to wipe it down, put I found the oil from fingers prevent the top coat from adhering to the lower coat). The wipe down is needed if you want a chrome effect, and not sparkles. After dusting off the access powder, I then put a second layer of Gellish top coat on top of the nail, then put my nails under the UV light for 90 seconds. Turned out beautiful, and has held up great.A couple things I learned… using just no wipe UV polish on the bottom, and regular clear coat on top doesn’t worked. I tried that with Sech Vite, and it peeled off. So UV gel on bottom, and UV gel on top is needed. Also, only pick up very small amounts, it’s all you need. If you pick up too much, it can get all over the place and you end up wasting it.I would definitely recommend this, and I think it’s a good value for the effect you get.

I like how it looks on the nails. However, it’s a very tiny product. Also, the applicator fell apart as I gently rubbed the powder onto the nail’s surface on the first use. For photo reference, I used it over a light pinkish nude nail.

My nails looked like gold sparkles, not chrome. I even tried applying different amount to get the desired look. Application was super easy. It works great as a sparkly gold powder, just not chrome.

Love this chrome powder. If you like the look of pearls on your white gel or dip powder nails, this is what you want to purchase. Great look for wedding nails.
