ChessEbook Wooden Backgammon Set 42 x 37 cm

Good value, basic backgammon set. Fast delivery, packaged ok. Good size of board and counters. Wooden storage box opens out as the board. No doubling die but can play general game without one. Bought a doubling die from toy shop for 99p. Limited instructions came with in the box but plenty of game information available on the internet. Would recommend - lacks quality but great for the price.

Impressed with the build quality, better thAN EXPECTED!

The delivery was fast. The board was wrapped up so the package and the board arrived in an immaculate condition. The board is in the solid case and the lock (it is like a hook) to keep the halves together actually works. When we took the board out of the case it smell the raw wood as if the whole thing was made specially for us. Nice. The product looks exactly as on the picture. The lions on the halves add some style to the board.Considering the price we paid it is a well built product that provides our family with hours of play. Even our seven year old daughter loves playing this backgammon with her granddad, especially when she wins.

This is probably the worst quality item I have ever received from an Amazon supplier. To my shame I must admit I did read the reviews and thought "what do people expect, it's only a game", Well, I've bought better quality firewood than this, Don't be fooled by the picture this product really is RUBBISH

Looks good but has some major flaws. The triangles are printed and there are even wooden "cups" at the base of each one for the pieces to nestle in......however the cups are offest and do not match up correctly to the triangles painted on the board leading to arguments in the middle of the game as to which position pieces are actually on!There are lovely wooden grooves down the sides for the pieces to sit in when you bear off...however the board does not close with the pieces in this position so you have to just leave them piled up loose inside the main part of the board.Finally there is no doubling dieIt's a shame as the overall construction is good and this could be such a nie set if corners had not been cut. Not a board I would order again or recommend to anyone.

This Backgammon is actually Pretty Good size for playing And stylish pattern in the middle looks Very good, The Pieces are of wood and the User Guide Is Good, But you may have To Read a few times Epecially If You Don't Know Anything About Backgammon.How The black And white Pieces are Setted up is included in The user manual. So Have Good With IT.

Abbiamo deciso di acquistare il prodotto dato il prezzo notevolmente inferiore agli altri (che partono da minimo 56 euro) e quando il prodotto è arrivato, a prima vista sembra perfetto.Andando a giocare, abbiamo notato ciò che ha fatto diventare un buon prodotto, un prodotto non consigliato. Dall'esterno si presenta in maniera fantastica, legno lucido e chiusura salda.Aprendolo, le pedine e i dadi sono chiusi in una bustina con dietro le istruzioni (NON presenti in italiano) e, a parte il dado nero che deficita di leggibilità, non presentano problemi.Passando alla tavola, il legno nero sui bordi non è stato lucidato e pertanto c'è il rischio che possa lasciare delle schegge, ma non è quello il problema: i solchi ai lati dove vengono poggiate le pedine uscite dal gioco non sono state rifinite e non sono incollate perfettamente, anzi, ballano parecchio.Parlando invece delle guide di legno per le punte, dove posizionare le piadine, non corrispondono rendendo il posizionamento sgradevole anche alla vista e anche lì le rifiniture mancano. Si può notare tutto dalle foto allegate.Se qualcuno decidesse di comprarlo, i miei consigli sono i seguenti (quelli che stiamo adottando noi):1. Passare una mano di carta vetrata sul legno più disastrato;2. Colorare i puntini dei dadi del colore opposto (bianco sul nero e viceversa) affinché siano più leggibili;3. Staccare le guide ché tanto non corrispondono e sono inutili;4. Passare del lucidante sulla bar della tavola (il legno nero interno).

le jeu est pas mal. mais le hic c'est qu'il manque un dé, celui des doubles.Je suis un peu déçu de ça. En plus les dés ne sont pas colorés et du coup pour les lire c'est pas simple

Die Abschlussleisten sind ein cm zu kurz so das Verletzungsgefahr besteht. Die Qualität ist sehr schlecht und das Holz so wie man es aus dem Modellbau kennt . Es ist so leicht das man angst hat etwas darauf zu stellen oder das Spiel falsch ab zu legen da es sonst brechen könnte. Das einzig akzeptable sind die Spielsteine und das es eine leiste gibt in der man diese aufbewahren kann. Das Spielfeld pro Seite ist gerade mal 20 cm. Das was man dafür verlangen könnte wären 9 Euro im Höchstfall. Da Verletzungsgefahr besteht geht es direkt zurück. Der Löwenkopf beinhaltet einen nicht klaren druck so das es als B ware durch gehen müsste und es stinkt alles Extrem nach leim. Kurz gesagt das ist ein Witz und will niemand haben. - Das ist die Wahrheit.
