World of Warcraft Ultimate Visual Guide: Updated and Expanded edition Hardcover – 2 May 2016

If you're like me and you started wow - and literally hear a million different versions of exactly what the lore was while you're trying to grind your way through 12 years of content: this is for you.I read it every day after I was done to keep myself at a reasonable level of understanding as I played and it went a long way to telling people in discord they know less than Jon Snow.As a bonus - it's prettier to look at than Tyrande.My girlfriend will never get me to take this off the coffee table.

Well, I don't really know how to make this specific. It's more of a general positive experience that I had. I found browsing around easy, I found this book and wanted to get it, so I got it - the transaction went smooth, and a few days later (within a very reasonable time window) I'd received my book. So yeah, this is just the experience I had with Amazon (The reason I'm even writing is that I'm new to using Amazon believe it or not)As far as the product itself, yeah it's pretty damn cool. It's got wonderfully well done graphics and it's interesting and a very excellent background for the lore of World of Warcraft.

I love this book. I've played WoW for nine years, and read most of the novels, but I get my history mixed up and forget which war was which and what orc did what. I am thoroughly enjoying reading about the characters met or mentioned in quests.On a more sombre note, when WoW is no more it will be a reminder to me of events I played through. I'll sit in my dotage unable to recall who I sat next to at primary school, but I'll remember the fall of Zalazane, and that time Aggra asked us to rescue Thrall from a gang of elementals.

Arrived earlier than expected, and as described. Great art work - mixes in-game, design and other art work to tell describe the locatiins and explain the major players in the Wow universe. Lots of lore is included with plenty of maps to show where everything is. A great companion to the game, covers everything up to the latest expansion, with lots of stuff very relevant to Legion.

My grandparents treated me to some WoW goodies and this was one of them.Ive played WoW since the beta all those years and ago and its nice to read more about the characters that inhabit the world of Azeroth.Some stuff I didn't know and was interesting to learn more.Worth the price!

A great book. As I skip through most of the quests in game this book gives a great overview of the main characters and stories from the beginning until mist of pandara. I am absolutely satisfied with it. It has a great quality of printings and the size is also great. I recommend it for all the lore fans and everybody who is too lazy to read through all the quests.

From page one your eyes are treated to a vivid array of images, this is constant from cover to cover. The book contains many details of the lore, characters and events that have forged the World (...of Warcraft!) However, if you are looking for more detailed lore rather than an entire brief overview then other sources would be required. That being said there are no degrees being given for Azeroth history, so unless you are an avid diehard fanboy (or fangirl ;-], send me your contact details) then this book is a nice addition to your library, that provides the minimal amount of information needed to know what is going on within the game world.

I bought this book to get more detail on the Lich King era and it really put it all into perspective. Although some of the double page spreads are a bit sparse, the book doesn't lack for detail and has some great timelines which really give a good start on the lore and cleared up a lot of confusion for me. Overall, if you like WoW then you should get this book.
