Parents save your child fingers before is too late!
The media could not be loaded. Even that I covered and protected every single sharp corner, drawers, fridge, cooker, oven, kitchen cabinets, radiator pipes, baby bed, coffee table, diner table, stairs, and every single none baby-safe place in our home from the ceiling to the floors( I even cut our cat nails just in case) I totally forgot about the doors which now I believe that is the most dangerous thing in every home and I don't know how I could be so blind and stupid about that!? Jesus!I did not even know that this product even exist until 2 weeks ago when my 14 month old son almost lost a little finger on the bedroom door hinge! Thank God, the finger tendon and bone was not damaged but his finger had very deep cut and it was a lot of blood... Thank god he recovery very fast and the wound healed completely in two weeks, but it could be much much worse as standard room door here in Sweden are design to work like a guillotine! That room door could easy cut off my son fingers in seconds! I'm not exaggerating check the video! It's insane! There is not even 2mm space between two very sharp corners. Thank God again that my son did not lost a finger, If that happen I don't know how I would continue with my life and how I would forgive myself... Crying while I'm writing this.... ;(Anyway... I received product in just a few days after my order and I install it easy on every single door in our home including the entry door.I also upload just a few images and one video before and after installation. Double side time hold it very strong in the place and there is no way that it will slip in any time soon. This product is very high quality and it works awesome! Now my son fingers will be protected and I personally want to express my gratitude to the seller. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Great product, but overpriced.
These are really great, they definitely do the job and cordon off the danger areas of a door frame from little fingers...or maybe the normal finger of a short person. They fit easily, would definitely recommend referring to the instructions and marking the door in advance as it easy to stick them on unevenly. If you have OCD, an uneven guard will definitely annoy you and, double edged sword, once they are stuck on - they are stuck on, not easy to remove without taking the paint with them.I'd also recommend removing the blue tape/sticker cover as you apply them to the door frame, don't take it all off in one go. Peel a few inches from the top, stick the top part on, line up guard with the next marking, hold in place and pull the blue tape downwards slowly. In summary, perfect for the job, plan on redecorating in a few years when the kids are old enough and you need to remove them, they will take the paint off.Only complaint - they are expensive for what they are, especially if you do a whole house. I feel like my parental paranoia/concerns are being exploited slightly. £7-£8 would be a sweet spot.

Does a great job but need fitting carefully
These finger guards are a godsend if you have small children who are careless with their fingers and like messing around with doors (i.e. all small children). You need to fit them using the enclosed measuring part, as otherwise the guards won't fold back properly (and you can't re-fit them once you've stuck them on the wall. The tape will take the paint off either way so you need to get it right first time). That said, fit them right and they are 100% effective, and a big load off your mind if you have small children. A bit expensive for what they are, but worth it.

PLEASE READ: If you are looking at these and wondering whether to go ahead and buy, please, please do.I have 10 month old twins and one of them had his finger shut in the door completely accidentally by his 4 year old brother who was closing the door to stop him going into the bathroom. Unfortunately one of his fingers was resting in where the hinge is.The door wasn't closed for half a second, I flew at it, but the damage had been done. From just above the top knuckle his finger was amputated instantly. It was one of the most horrific and mortifying things I have ever been through, and indeed, two of my children. He was rushed to the Children's Hospital where they managed to sew his finger back on and is now in the recovery process. Due to the clean amputation and how quickly they operated we have every hope his finger will heal and function as normal, however his nail may never grow.I have locks on every cupboard, knobs removed from chests of drawers, shatter proof glass protectors, edged corner bumpers, boxed in wires and plug sockets and 4 baby gates. I always knew about these and in honesty, never bothered with them. I have now completely failed two of my children as a result. My four year old is really struggling with what happened and it's all down to me.This is such as small investment, but can make such a huge difference, I am now trying to raise awareness to parents. For the sake of a few quid, please buy them. and indeed, the door stoppers. These are wonderful, easy to install and full protection for little hands. Needless to say, they are now on every door in my house. PLEASE do what I didn't.

Expensive for what they consist of, but worth having for the peace of mind.
We got a couple of these for keeping our 18 month old safe in our town house style home which has fire doors that slam shut. It has a chain in the door between the hinges and it can't be removed, so it's extremely dangerous if little hands get between the door and the frame. We bought finger guards to stop the door completely shutting if she kicks the door stop loose, but the hinge area was still a point of fear for us, so this product looked like the ideal solution. The idea is spot on. It works brilliantly on our doors and was so easy to install. My reason for an average review is that, having a lot of doors I need to put these on, I feel they're very overpriced for what they actually are... Scored plastic and foam tape. It's the kind of thing I wish ikea would get on top of and provide to the masses, they'd sell really well and be a lot cheaper!
