Play the best console using the best controller!
First time using this adapter on PS4 and I must say that I am 'super' impressed. The Super Converter allows me to use my Elite Xbox controller without any restrictions or compromises. After initially conecting the converter the xbox controller became unresponsive within a few minutes, but this was because it needed to be updated on the PC first! The zip file I downloaded from the support section on the Brook website contained two updates which both had to be installed but took no longer than 10 minutes and all is clearly explained.Following the update I played for a number of hours without any issue. As I mentioned there are no compromises and this includes the PS4 touchpad. The inputs are replicated on the Xbox controller by holding the change view button and moving the right stick either left, down or right depending on which part of the touchpad you wish to emulate.A solid purchase for sure and I'm even considering the PS4 to Xbox One Super Converter for my arcade stick. To summarise:- Works flawlessly- No noticeable lag- When using with the Xbox Elite controller it keeps your settings i.e. button mapping (paddles included) and trigger/stick sensitivity- Replicates touchpad inputs by holding the change view button and moving the right stick (3 inputs altogether for left, centre and right)- Does not work wirelessly

Brilliant piece of kit for those who hate the PS4 controller
Like many other users, I wanted to use my Xbox one controller on my PS4 (Xbox elite controller) I immediately plugged into my laptop and updated on the brook website, the process was effortless and easy, took litterally 40 seconds to do, and iv had several long sessions on my PS4 pro since, with zero lag and no dropouts or unresponsive periods the gadget works flawlessly. My only issue is that on the pro you either have to use the rear USB port but if your like me and have an Astro headset amp plugged in along with an external hard drive the other option is to use a usb extender, otherwise the device works as expected if not even better.

Brilliant!
Cannot fault this product so far. Wanted to be able to use my Xbox One Controller on my PS4 as I prefer the Xbox One controller, plugged into my laptop when it arrived, updated and was ready to go.Plugged into my PS4, attached the Xbox One controller and boom, everything connected straight away. No lag or input delay either. Share and touchpad alternatives are decent and easily understandable.Highly recommend

Works great, but on a PS4 Pro you're forced to use the rear USB ports.
As a long-time owner and fan of the Xbox One Elite controller for PC gaming, I have for a long time wished I could use it on my PS4, as the Xbox controller layout is arguably the most comfortable/ergonomic controller layout there is, and being able to customise your controls to the degree the Elite controller affords is, quite literally, game-changing.Until I knew these things existed, I was previously tempted by the officially licensed PS4 Onyx controller, since it has a similar shape/layout to the Xbox One controller. The reviews of this product, however, have dissuaded me from ever trying it. It seems it is poorly supported by Sony, which is a real shame. So, I found out about these things and whilst they come from a manufacturer I've never heard of and whose website is really old-school looking and their branding is weird and poorly thought out... I decided to give it a go, as the reviews are very positive. And after a single play session in God of War on my PS4 Pro, I can see why. When it arrived, the first thing I did was update the firmware. This was a bit of a chore as I had to first figure out how to navigate the manufacturer's website (hint: go straight to the downloads page, click PS4, and then find your product based on the picture/title. There are 3 versions of the firmware: the "tournament" version disables the turbo button functionality for use in, well, tournaments, as this can be considered cheating, so you'll probably just want the normal version). I decided to do this immediately as I had heard from other reviews that PS4 update's had made it impossible to use the adapter for longer than 8 minutes at a time and I wanted to make sure I didn't have this issue. With that out of the way, I plugged it into the front of the PS4 Pro, booted up the console, and waited to see the blue LED light up. Which never happened. I tried the other front port of the PS4 Pro, and it lit up momentarily before going out.It was at this point I realised that the shape of the adapter was too big to properly fit in the PS4 Pro's front ports, as plugging into the rear ports, the blue LED lights up every time reliably. You already give up wireless comfort to use this adapter - having to plug into the rear port further decreases the distance you can sit back from your TV by another couple of feet. For this oversight, I have docked a star. However, the adapter works flawlessly. There is no perceptible input lag, and after the initial "this is weird! I'm using my Xbox One controller on PS4!" feeling wears off, it's completely natural and works entirely as you'd expect. Users of the Elite controller get to make full use of their profiles, customisations, and paddles etc., though you of course won't be able to tune your profiles on PS4 and will have to plug into a PC (or Xbox One, I assume - I don't own one) for this, but that's entirely expected. Also, you can use the touchpad, Options and Share buttons just fine. Xbox One's View button emulates clicking the touchpad in, the Menu button maps to the Options button. Pressing both the View and Menu buttons emulates the Share button. Lastly, you can emulate touchpad gestures/swipes by holding the View button and moving the right analog stick.I had read elsewhere (nowhere official from Brook/Gam3Gear) that it is possible to plug the Xbox wireless adapter dongle into this product to play wirelessly, however, I could not get this to work. The wireless adapter never lights up and holding the sync button does nothing. Which is a shame, but it was expected.All-in-all, aside from the fact I have to plug into a rear USB port, this adapter works exactly as you would expect. I had a really fun session playing God of War on PS4 Pro with my Xbox One Elite controller, and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wishes they didn't have to use PS4 controllers ever again.I will update this review in future if the product develops any weird quirks, stops working, etc. If I haven't updated this review (you'll see the update at the top of the review) by now, it's because it's still working just fine.If the trade-off of having to go wired is undesirable for you, I would also recommend the "Mcbazel Brook X ONE Wireless Adapter & Charging Battery for Xbox One to PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC", which I have purchased and tried since: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0794VJ18B/It is made by the same company, allows for wireless play, and adapts the controller for use on more platforms. It does have a few caveats, just like this wired adapter, however, so once again I rate that product 4 stars, but I personally prefer to use it on PS4 over this wired adapter.

Very disappointed
Not sure what is going on. The usb stick has xbox one to ps4 on the front and that’s what it states on the box. Plugged it into ps4 and attached xbox controller, nothing happened. Checked online and decided it needed a firmware update. Downloaded the software and plugged in the usb stick but the PC identified it as a Wingman XE stick. Tried to update the firmware but the software doesn’t recognise the stick. Very frustrating. Have ordered a replacement and will see if that works any better.
