Fertility Pack - Centigrade Digital Basal Thermometer /10 x Ovulation/10 x Pregnancy tests + F.O.C. Chart

So after a few months of trying for a baby i had a look at one of the expensive ovulation kits, someone had left a review asking why anyone would buy it as you could do the same thing with a simple thermometer and chart kit.. New to all this i thought id give it a go before spending £100+ so i bought this little kit which made my husband laugh but low and behold i got pregnant after the first month of using it! Hurrah!The thermometer is great and although it doesnt beep too loudly the hubby complained i was waking him up every morning (like his snoring doesnt wake me up every night!) so i would take my temp first thing wait for it to start beeping then turn it off, then later when you switch it on again it gives you the last reading so i could chart it then (it only does this once though, next time you turn it off that reading will be lost - just a warning!)You get 10 ovulation sticks, so i charted on my little sheet the days i thought i would be fertile and did the ovulation tests during those dates, the reading came up straight away - however, when i did the pregnancy tests, i read the first 2 wrong as i didnt realise you have to wait 5 minutes for the correct result (doh!) was probably too excited to read the instructions properly! So i had a few days of wondering where my period was!Overall really pleased that it helped me and for a couple of pounds well worth the spend! Would do what other people did though and photocopy the chart.. or there is one on the Baby Centre website which you can download and i preferred it as it was a bit easier to follow.Good luck :-)

I read plenty of reviews and this seemed liked the best option. I have been using it less than a month, and so far I haven't had any issues. I really enjoy the fact that you can read the temputure later in the day when you turn it back on. My husband has a more consistent work schedule (waking at the same time everyday) than I do, so when he wakes up he places the thermometer in my mouth, and I turn it off when it starts to beep and go back to sleep. Later when my alarm goes off, I turn it back on and record the temperature. Haven't yet used the ovulation or pregnancy tests. As far as I can tell, the thermometer is quite accurate. It still is a bit too early to say. I would recommend it to a friend.Edit: The only negative was the fertility chart. The fertility chart sent with the package isn't very extensive. I found the fertility chart on SpringMoonFertility.com far better. Easy to print off and it's free.

For the price this is a good set, anything electronic can break I guess. I used it almost every day since I got it. It broke the other day though, not sure why. I thought it was running out of battery so I purchased 10 batteries (i could only find a pack of 10) but it didn't work. if you need it for about a year then this should be fine. it came with the strip tests so these were useful.

Arrived very fast and have to say does the job perfectly. Records to 2 decimal places. I find the beep quite useful to let me know when to take it out of my mouth - it's pretty quiet though - I have to say my husband didn't even know I've been doing it until 4 days later only because he was up and saw it! I agree with one improvement they could make is backlight the display as you really need a different light to be able to read it and because you're advised to do it in bed pretty much before you move a muscle, this would be a great addition!However, works great, and bonus of OPK sticks, Pregnancy tests plus one blank chart. You might want to get access to a photocopier to take copies of this one before you start using this cycle, if you want to use this sheet. (I decided to go online and chart via an app). I've had trouble finding the right batteries in the shops as nothing seemed to match the code given on the pack. (Just in case this one runs out - don't know if it will but I can't take the risk as wanting to chart every day). But ordered some off Amazon and hope they work if ever needed. Perhaps they could make it clearer if other batteries would suffice.

I've only been using this for about a month, its my first try and tracking my cycle and has helped so much! It accurately detected all the temperature drops and highs as I expected through my cycle and has really helped me understand it. Also really handy that it comes with 10x ovulation kits and 10x pregnancy tests. A fantastic price for all that in my opinion and so easy to use. It also comes with a ovulation chart which is a bit rubbish as the temp doesn't go high enough on the centigrade scale, i wouldn't bother trying to use this.

I like this product but if you are ordering it to measure your BBT and or charting your cycles please read:-If your room is even only slightly dark you won't be able to see the display as it lacks a backlight or any source of light to make results visible.-It is supposed to save the last measured temperature so you could potentially measure your temperature, go about your waking up routine and later on switch it back on and get the reading, the problem is this only flashes for a couple of seconds and then it's gone.There have been a few times that I have tried to retrieve the last measured temperature again and all I get is the flashing "37degrees".-If you sleep next to your partner, bear in mind the next feature: the device has an alarm that will beep when it has finished reading. It is not possible to change this setting. It's not an incredibly loud beep, but it's very "alarm-like" so chances are it will be heard and identified as such.-The thermometer I received displays the low battery signal since arrival. I have been recording my BBT daily for about 25 days and I had a very spiky chart, I am not sure if there are other reasons why my temperature fluctuates so much, but thought it worth mentioning in case other user's charts are unusually spiky, check your thermometer's battery.The ovulation tests included are good and were actually able to detect my LH surge, something Clearblue ovulation tests were unable to do! I haven't tried the pregnancy tests yet, but hopefully soon I will!
