Learning is fun
This is a great game for all ages but especially for kids in KS1 who are learning about money. During the game you have to finish your chores and you will earn money for doing it. Kids learn not only adding and subtracting but also recognising the coins and notes.

Great game for learning money skills
This is a great game for teaching money skills. Each round, you roll the die to move around the board, and receive a small amount of money (under £1). You spin the spinner to see which coin you are not allowed to use to collect your winnings (e.g. collect 33p without using 10p coins). There are a number of special slots to mix things up, so sometimes you land on the Money Bag space and get to collect the coins in a communal pot, and sometimes you land on Bank Exchange, where you can earn 10p if you are able to exchange some coins with some of equal value from the bank (e.g. 2 5ps for a 10p). The winner is the player with the most money at the end.In my view it's much better than 'Pop to the Shops' which we also own, although my son enjoys both. You spend far more time in this game actually manipulating money, rather than mindlessly rolling around the board. You also use a wider range of coins (and they are realistic), and the challenge of managing to reach the required number without a certain coin is a good one. It's also fairly fast paced. My son is just beginning to learn about money, so I give him a crib sheet ( a piece of paper with the 1p, 2p etc written on it and an example of the coin next to each number) which helps a lot. There is a particular scenario which is tricky, where you roll an odd number and aren't allowed to use 1p coins. E.g. to make 33p without 1p coins you need 20p, 5p, and 4 x 2ps. I do help my son if that happens.

Good educational game
Not a bad game. It does teach kids about different coin values. My son who is five enjoyed playing it. But it's not a game that can hold his interest for long. I would still recommend it for its educational value.

Good purchase 👍🏻
We've played this a few times now with our 5 year old son. He enjoys it and is already learning from it. It doesn't last too long so he doesn't get bored of playing. So yes, I'd recommend it and I'm glad we got it for him.

Brilliant!
My seven year old daughter was struggling with money questions on her maths homework because she didn't have much experience of buying things and hence money value. After reading reviews for this game I thought i'd give it a try. Very pleased with purchase. After playing this relatively quick game with her just four times she was happily counting out the game's play money correctly, and last week, at the school Christmas fete, she was counting out real money correctly too! (the money in the game is realistic enough in colour and size that identifying the real coins in her real pocket money was no problem). I would also agree with other reviewers that there is some flexibility to change the game rules - we are now playing a game having changed the rules ourselves so that we hand over money and give change. Great!
