Excellent quality and free of hissing and other unwanted noise. I've used it to connect a Strat and an Ibanez SA to my Fender Champion 40 amp, and also to connect a Yamaha fretless bass guitar and a Stagg/Rocket electric upright bass to my Hartke A35 bass amp - all work really well and sound good.NB: You will notice that one of the connectors says 'shielded end' but no information is supplied with the lead to explain this. It turns out (from looking on various forums) that this end is meant to go into the amplifier and the other end into the guitar. Don't ask me to explain the science of this! Anyway, it's a really good lead and highly recommended.

I bought this cause my leads keep failing on me as a guitar player i want good strong leads and for this price your getting a very good cable i have tested it out and love them i will be ordering more as i need them.get it you wont be dissapointed.

Feels nice quality, does what you would expect. Ace for the price. I wish I had ordered a longer one, but that's my fault for underestimating what I need !

I was sceptical about other reviews saying that it improved the sound of the instrument to the standard that it sounded like a new amp. However it has made an improvement to the sound quality of my bass compared to my last cable, and this surprised me as I have a pretty good set-up already. So I highly recommend buying this cable! And the delivery was really quick as well. All in all, very good!

I first bought one of these cables for my son based on a recommendation from his teacher. It broke after 6-7 months, which surprised me, but at the time, I guessed he might have been yanking the cable out of the guitar. I ordered another, and he has been extra careful when taking it out of the guitar, but after less than 2 months, the plug has separated from the cable. I think this cable has a quality control issue, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Since playing the guitar, over 28 years ago now, I've tried a fair few guitar leads but I've always came back to the Planet Wave ones; Clear sound, strong treble, strong bass, good and sturdy.Love them....

Superb product: I play bass and have used cheaper cables for a number of years. After some research I opted for Planet Waves cables and I couldn't be more pleased. There is a really noticeable improvement to the tone and punch of my bass - almost like getting a new amp! Highly recommended. Chris
