I would first like to clarify I'm not a gardening person..however I brought this item so it would help break up the earth on my Dad & Uncle's grave (my Dad is buried with his brother), I used it for the first time today (10/08) and discovered it was useless. The handle is only secured with a screw, washer and a butterfly nut..the butterfly nut was done up sooooo tight that in use it was becoming loose. The handle wobbles about & it does not go into the pole with a snug fit, there is loads of room still available in the pole..I got cheesed off with it as it's useless and left by the tap in the cemetery. Customers avoid this product!

It works well on my light sandy soil but I can see a possible problem arising in time, especially when used on heavier clay soils. That is, the 'T' handle bolts into the stem but the fit isn't tight. It needs packing of some sort so that there's no play when you twist the tool. I've used insulating tape but maybe something firmer is best. Don't let this observation put you off buying this tool - it's good value for money and is well made in all other respects.

the handle is only held on by one nut and bolt which does not tighten up properly which makes it difficult to twist before getting a purchase on the soil would defiantly not recommend this to anybody .we are now trying to find a way of keeping the nut and bolt tight .

This item is one of the worst things I have ever brought! I am an average sized woman of 50yrs and could not dig the prongs in hard enough to get the weeds out! my sons and husband have all tried and though slightly better at it then me they still said that the prongs were not strong enough and would probably break with a bit more force!! If I could only remember where I put the receipt I would have sent it straight back!!Utterly useless! Plus I now have large looking mole hills all across my lawn which has completely ruined my lovely garden! Please don't waste your money on this product.Invest in a more expensive product that will do the job properly!

Der Gruber wurde leider ohne Befestigungsschraube (für die Monatge des Griffs auf dem Rest) geliefert. Ich hatte aber auch in den warehouse deals bestellt für einen deutlich günstigeren Preis. Die Arbeitshöhe ist ausreichend für Personen von 160cm plus. Damit lassen sich schnell ein Paar Beetstreifen für Radieschen o.ä. auflockern. Der Boden sollte aber nicht aus Wurzeln und Steinen bestehen. Dafür ist das Werkzeug nicht ausgelegt. Es hat nur einen Hohlblechschaft. Kann man also haben - oder schnell mal mit dem Spaten graben. Grasbüschel lassen sich aber ganz gut entfernen.

Après avoir reçu cet article ce jour, au déballage je me suis vite rendu compte qu'ils'agissait plus d'un jouet que d'un outil de travail.J'ai monté cet article puis l'ai utilisé. A la première utilisation, on tournant le manche d'un quart de tour, celui ci s'est brisé !Le sol était pourtant meuble.Il s'est cassé au niveau du manche fin et creux tenu par un simple écrou. En tournant le manche a tourné mais pas le reste de l'outil en terre. tube métallique tellement fin qu'il s'est coupé.Je demande le remboursement de cet article que je n'ai pu utilisé et très cher pour ce que c'est.Je déconseille très vivement l'achat de cet article.
