Chinese to English instructions, some confusion.
I like the tool now I have figured out how to change the threaded part which compresses the rivet insert. As often happens, the instructions seem to have lost something in translation from Chinese. The usual case here with tools of this type is that it is "Made in China". The instructions keep referring to "rivet nut lever" which in fact is one of the screw threaded riveting rods of different sizes that screw into the business end of the tool and nothing to do with the operating levers. The instructions for changing the riveting rods state (2) Push the sleeve back but the arrow indicating this is points in the general direction of the outer fixed sleeve and the pictures are very small. It is not obvious that the screw in fitting is retained by a sliding, spring loaded grey coloured sleeve that has an internal hexagonal shape like a short box spanner. When this is pushed back in the direction of the die cast body by inserting a finger nail into a wide slot machined in the outer fixed sleeve, the insert tool can be easily unscrewed and a different size screwed back in. It is only finger tight, no use of a spanner needed. Instruction (3) has an arrow confusingly pointing in the wrong direction. The spring loaded sleeve is then released and the hexagonal part of one of the M5, M6, M8 etc inserts is covered up and prevented from unscrewing when the pump action draw bar is pulled in and out to screw the riveting rod into the rivet nut. I hope this helps anyone who, like myself, may be scratching their head over the user manual descriptions.

Great for heavy duty use! Got me out of trouble!
Great tool, just ensure all parts are firmly tightened and greased before first and regular use. I use a little spray of wd40 (or other oil)on the mandrel to help prevent wear and ease of use with the rivnut. I also use a bit of grease to keep all parts well lubricated to keep it functioning well.I bought this as a get out of jail card as my professional pneumatic gun broke. I have used this on a large scale job inserting 500+ m8 stainless steel rivnuts and it has kept going! Thanks Amazon for your great service as usual! On time and always reliable!

Rivnut tool works nicely
These reviews seem to have got mixed up, some for the rivnut tool, and some for screwdrivers. Mine is for the rivnut tool, which has solved a fastening problem for me. I bought separately some stainless steel M5 rivnuts and this fitted them effortlessly. I have not tried big ones, or done very many, but the tool feels robust and is easy to operate once you have thrown the instructions away, so I am fairly confident that I have a good one. It comes in a nice carry case too with its various fittings for different size rivnuts, and an assortment of what I guess are zinc passivated rivnuts, enough to get you going, but I like stainless, and got a box of a couple of hundred assorted sizes, to accompany the tool, overall really happy with it.

Great product
I love it when you use a tool that’s had thought put into the design. From the easy to change thread inserts to the plunger for quickly backing out of the thread on compleation. This product is easy to use from a hobbyist to more professional applications. So far I have been really satisfied with every tool I have bought from this company. The build quality is by no means exceptional but for it’s price it’s far better than the competitors (I have tried).

Good tool, check with seller for what is actually included before buying accessories though
Great tool and does the job well. Dropping one star as the product description stated that it didn’t come with any rivet nuts, as such I forked out for a separate pack which then turned out to be surplus and potential high return postage cost which made it pointless to try and send back

Supplied with a missing internal pivot so it broke first time used
Unable to use it and returned same day for credit - a great deal of wasted time and carriage. Utterly unacceptable quality control with missing internal pivot that cause destruction first time used. Will choose more carefully when I buy a replacement.

Every DIY'er should have this on the shelf.
Easy to use, and sometimes the only feasible fix.

Better than the ad looks
I was very surprised by the quality of this tool. It actually takes sizes M3 to M12 not M5 to M8 as advertised. Works like a dream and looks built to last. I'm very pleased with it.
