Awesome. A repeat buy over and over
Delish. Delish. Delish. Delish. 70% chocolate of the highest and most delicious quality. Yes, I use it sometimes for cooking or baking. But seriously, this stuff is so good and such amazing value, that I often (most evening!) have a tiny dish these little drops with my evening tea or coffee. An absolute staple in our house. Wonderful taste - better IMHO than the flavour of Green and Black, or Montezuma or other cult chocolate bars. Beautifully tempered. Great for cooking with. And high amount of the good stuff- cocoa - that we all now know is just about the most potent antioxidant on the planet (other than tumeric/curcumin and how want to eat that by the tablespoon full of an evening?!).And the amount you get for the cost makes it wonderfully good value for money.

Top notch Chocci!
I bought this to make mousse and banana bread etc and actually.. and here is the big reveal..I no longer buy all that over-packaged, hyped chocolate that goes in a minute in front of the telly. These little babies are heaven eaten from the packet..great flavour, smooth melt in the mouth but not sickly and no sugar-burn as it is a dark chocolate. We have them in a jar marked "good boys & girls" [I'm showing my age and did we really give our dogs chocolate in the 70's & 80's!!] and a small handful after a meal is just bliss. Simple good food with barely any packaging..but if you want to talk recipes..then how long have you got? I make our own chocolates laced with nuts and dried fruit in a matter of minutes as well, so really...ditch the rip off bars and get creative with this wonder bag of yumminess [plus dark choc is GOOD for you]

Top quality, delicious, the best
Callebaut chocolate is simply the best. I buy others in their range of callets too (the milk chocolate for one, which I love; it’s like posh Galaxy) but this 70.5% version is my absolute favourite. It’s got a rich dark (but not bitter) chocolate taste which is delicious in grown up brownies, truffles, mousse... everything. The little callets (little chocolate drops, a bit like m&m size) make it perfect not just for melting but also snacking on as a treat. And despite the relatively unhealthy aspects to all chocolate, this are way healthier than most. None of the rubbish cheap fats or dross that is in popular confectionary, and full of natural benefits like potassium and magnesium.I have a nut allergy and it’s a huge bonus for me that there is no risk of cross contamination with nuts on the production line. (When buying, do check current labelling for yourselves, of course!) That in itself would make me want to buy Callebaut. But it’s the quality, the flavour, the texture that places it leagues ahead of anything else I’ve tasted or used. Brilliant.Callebaut packaging is also excellent - such clever sealing means the chocolate stays fresh but easily accessible.

Accidental purchase, quality brand
I became addicted to the almond milk hot chocolate at my local and excellent cafe (House of Koko in Leeds) and found myself buying a takeaway hot choc even on the days I didn't eat there - quite an effort with a new born baby, I can tell you. So on discovering this was Callebaut I went off to buy some. Accidentally I bought these cooking chocolate chips instead, and while they're not what I wanted they will come in handy when baking. I've had to hide them in the store cupboard for now as I did open the bag to ''test' a few and they are bitter sweet and exceptionally moorish if you love dark chocolate.Had I been permitted to I would probably have returned this item simply because I didn't mean to buy it - but the seller doesn't allow that. I can however vouch for the exceptional quality of this chocolate brand and encourage hot chocolate drinkers to try the drinking chocolate as it's simply AMAZING and worth the pricetag.

Dark,rich and delicious
I usually order the 60% Origine but decided to try this for a change - and to see if, being darker it would mean I could get away with using less when I make hot chocolate - and I can! It is a much stronger flavour - not that it is better than the 60% - just different - some - my mum included prefer the more mellow tones of the 60% - but I like them both - and this bag is considerably cheaper than the other. I think this one will be better for baking - higher cocoa content - and the 60% possibly a better choice for hot chocolate for most people...not that everyone is mad enough to by 2.5kg bags of chocolate just to make a drink! Ps both are great with a good glug of Amaretto added to the mix!
