Neewer Set of Two 9 feet/260 centimeters Photo Studio Light Stands for HTC Vive VR, Video, Portrait, and Product Photography

I needed a tripod set for my HTC Vive base stations as i had a makeshift setup that wasn't practical.These not only suited my requirements but exceeded them. Fantastic height (much needed for extra sensitivity and accuracy), good durability and very well constructed. Easy set up and great storage (fits just where i wanted to put them when away and not in use)Only con is that it doesn't comes with a rotator or ball head to angle the base stations, but despite buying a set to accommodate this, they are still very much well worth the price even with the additional (£3) cost.Very happy with this product and I would highly recommend it.

These are nice and long. I have really tall ceilings and at max extension, these can ram my base stations (Valve Index) into the ceiling... so I dont extend one of the middle poles. They are sturdy enough... if you're not as dumb as myself (I tripped over the legs of one and sent the whole thing flying). Even through though... I managed to catch the pole with base station attached and they held true... and stood straight back up easily :)They hold up well under a light breeze too... but should obviously be used indoors.

I bought these for use with my VIVE lighthouses. I have heard good and bad things about using stands such as these, but I wanted to be able to demonstrate it to people in different places so I needed a way of setting it up in different environments that wouldn't break the bank (any more than buying the VIVE had already done.)So the answer to the question is; YES. These do work absolutely fine with VIVE lighthouses. I preordered the VIVE and have owned it since day one so these have had extensive use. I have used them on deep carpets, shallow carpets, wood, lino, uneven floors, flat floors. You name it, I have probably tried it. They are easy to setup out of the box and go easily high enough to use for the Lighthouses.If people walk nearby, yes they do wobble a little, so try to minimise that. But it's never been bad enough that I've regretted using them.

Not the sturdiest and I wouldn’t put very heavy lights on it, but for smaller monolights or a big flash with a a soft box these are perfect. Very happy with them at this price.

Both of the stands were cracked in the same place, straight out of the box. Just like other buyers here it seems. Probably something that happens due to poor build quality and the manufacturing process. If i knew about this i probably wouldn't buy them.The glossy finish makes it harder to grip when you tighten the screws. The leg spread is great, making this a sturdy stand for medium to heavy lights. From one foot to the other it measures 95cm (29 inches).

I like neewer gear. These are ok for normal amateur use. They do wobble when knocked but are stable inside a studio. Plenty of height adjustment and pack away nicely. I would buy again.

Got this for the valve index lighthouses and they do a very nice job of holding them in place.

commande reçu rapidement, pied avec un empattement assez large quand il et ouvert au maxi pour assurer une bonne stabilité, hauteur suffisante(2,55m empattement ouvert à fond) , je l' ai utilisé en intérieur à 2m de hauteur avec un parapluie 84 cm la stabilité et bonne, attention lorsque l' ont desserrent les tubes ils peuvent descendre très vite.Bon rapport qualité prix

Like many others, these were purchased (about six months ago) for the HTC Vive lighthouses. A 1/4" mini ball head bracket worked perfectly with this to get the required angle. They are easy to set up, take down, and store. Despite being extremely lightweight, they are remarkably stable and well suited for this purpose. As much as having a tripod just sitting around one's living room can be, they are decently attractive and are solid black (except for some screws and the very top.No complaints with this product.
