I couldn't be more impressed with the performance of the "Terry" phone. It is particularly good in the terms of hearing clarify and ease of communication. One of the standout features is its exceptional sound quality and compatibility with hearing aides. It has worked out beautifully for my husband who had been having a challenge with other phones. The large buttons make it easy for him to make quick access with important contacts and to reach me when necessary. What was really outstanding was the customer support. When I experienced a glitch, I was guided through the process until it was resolved to my satisfaction.

My first TerryPhone turned out to be defective. One of the number keys got stuck, rendering it useless. However, I did not discover this until after the Amazon date to return the item due to a long vacation I was on. When I reached out the customer service at Acenis (manufacturer of TerryPhone), I was so pleasantly surprised and how quickly and kindly they were about replacing it. They sent out a new phone immediately and did not even require that I return the defective one. Then they followed up with me to make sure all was well, which it is. I love my TerryPhone's big button, speaker phone, comfort of handheld receiver. Their customer service is 5 stars and the TerryPhone a wonderful addition.

This phone after working for a brief time, only allowes calls coming in, no calls could be made going out. I even had Xfinity come out to see if something wasn't properly connected. He told me the problem was definitely the phone not their service. In addition to issues, the volume on this phone made it sound like people were whispering. Volume control was ineffective.Now after spending $40 or $50 on this phone I need to go out and buy another one. Do not buy this phone!!!!!!!

After having purchased other models which had to be returned, I had low expectations that anyone made a big-button phone with decent audio. And let's face it - the only reason to have a phone is for the audio! This one was easy to install, and the handset audio is great - on both ends of the call. It's not Bose, but for the price it is good sound. The speaker is marginal at best, so if a speakerphone is a must you may have to keep looking. But it still ended up better than the other 2 or 3 we tried in this price range.

This is a nice phone, which is very convenient for us senior citizens, with its large buttons for dialing. It works very well.

Wife got one, set it up with Cell2Jack, she likes the speed dial buttons. The ring is loud, and the flashing light is a nice extra.However, when she switches the phone over to speaker, it is no where near 80db it claims to be, we have the volume slider all the way up, perhaps the unit is defective.The speaker however is decently loud IF she removes the handset, the speaker design is located right below the handset, and they have a foam pad on the handset, so that muffles down the volume quite a bit.She uses the speaker phone part most of the time, so she had me tape down the 'receiver' button, and she just leaves the handset off the base. Not exactly ideal, but it works.She is on the hunt for one with more quick-dial buttons and a better speaker phone option.The handset IS decently loud when used normally.

This is a great phone for my elderly mother! Easy for her to hold while talking and since I programmed all her most dialed numbers into it, it couldn’t be easier for her to dial! I’ve tried a few others, but this one is the easiest for her to use. I would definitely recommend!

Long story, but had difficulty with the first phone. I had bought it for an elderly relative who raised a handicapped grandchild. With the picture buttons, the now adult grandchild could call someone if something happened to the grandmother. Not sure what happened, but after I programmed the buttons, she later unplugged the phone (which causes it to reset) to put the pictures in. Then it didn’t work. She didn’t understand how to reset. I was very ill for several months and out of town with surgeries and hospital stay. When I was able I went and tried to reprogram the phone numbers. I could not get it to reprogram except for only one number. I contacted customer service and they were extremely helpful, receptive, and immediately responded. After trying all that they ask me to try, they offered me another phone. I installed the new phone and had no issues. All is well. Customer service contacted me again to make sure all was OK and that I was able to program it with success. Although we had difficulty with the first phone, everything was extremely easy to get help from a very pleasant customer service rep, named Mary. Mary made sure that I was able to help these two individuals whose situation is difficult. They love the phone and it is easy enough for the grandchild to just touch the programmed picture to get help. I will have to say that it is the most pleasant customer service I have ever had to deal with and that the Terry phone is and could be a real life saver.

Really nice phone. Has 3 quick call buttons so it’s good for an older person with memory problems.My 93 yr old mother in law loves it. Replacement warranty is outstanding.

Bought this phone for my elderly mother. The "regular" phone she had was always off the hook or batteries were dead making it difficult to reach her. We bough this Terry Phone and it's wonderful. I set-up the 3 quick call buttons with pictures on it so she doesn't have to remember the phone numbers. There is a flashing light when the phone right so that get her attention and the volume is quite good. Perfect for the elderly that have memory issues, or find it difficult to operate complicated wireless phone. Set-up was quick and easy. Overall very satisfied with the product.

great phone for my old mum nice big numbers

I bought this for my 98 year old mother in law. We needed a phone that was very easy to use. Although she doesn’t hear the ring tone as well as we hoped everything else is what we were looking for. We like that she can call us with the press of one button. It has a long cord to the handset which helps as she’s in a wheelchair. So far we are happy with this purchase.
