UTG Recon Outdoor Bipod available in Silver - 9.12 inches

I must admit to being worried when I read some of the reviews on this bipod(BP01). I went ahead and bought it anyway. I'm so very pleased that I have. I think that it is an extremely sturdy piece of kit indeed. No sloppiness or backlash of any kind. I used it this Friday past (18/10/19) for the first time. It was pretty much perfect. The legs are very stiff to deploy, I wasn't able to loosen them up as the fixings would not undo at all. As I didn't want to damage them, I left them well alone. They may loosen up very slightly in time.The pivot joint is friction adjustable by a screw fitting at the back and the front. This worked perfectly. Also, the leg extensions worked well and locked into place with a very positive position location. This was also lockable with a 3 quarter turn thumbscrew which has a pin in the head of it so that it cannot be lost by accident. The rubber feet worked well enough without any of that turning around that some bipods suffer from. Admittedly, this bipod is fitted to my Redwolf. Thus there is no recoil to speak of. I did find that with a sturdy shooting take up my shooting had improved in leaps and bounds. I paid for this bipod out of my own money and would do so again. In fact a friend of mine has decided to buy the same bipod. Cannot really say better than that.However, should anything transpire from my ongoing use of the UTG BP01, I shall certainly report upon how things go.

These are just bloomin brilliant, I own 3 now. I do wish the slightly shorter BP02 version was available, but I can't complain.

Currently testing on my Brocock Bantam Sniper Hr Hilite.Had concerns as reviews were mainly complaining about the loose legs or sagging legs also the looseness of the rotation and 360 tilt.I’ll comment further once I e field tested the bipod.I have in the interim contacted their customer care who have failed to reply to date, this was around 3 weeks ago.

Excellent bipod works well on a bench

Usually a amazing brand but I bought a newOne not pre owed. The left leg is in poor condition and acts more damaged than new very very poor. If I wasn’t in desperate need to it , it would have been returned very very poor quality for ‘new’

I'd ordered 2 cheaper ones previously thinking there was'nt much to a bipod so so the cheap ones will be fine. They were both rubbish and returned. This bipod is brilliant. It stays in the desired position when tightened up, unlike the cheap ones. It's got a quality look and feel to it and a nice size for my air rifle.

Inizialmente avevo preso un bipiede sui 50 euro che sembrava discreto. Però aveva giochi ovunque, anche da nuovo.Con questo non c'è paragone, stabile e senza giochi. Diciamo che ti spieghi molto bene il prezzo triplo. Ma vale quanto pagato

For the money you are getting quailty! I use this on my AR and could not be happier with the quality. There is lots of room for making adjustments, panning, tilt, angle of the legs, telescoping, etc. I also love the offset, it allows me to get the Bipod as far out as possible. I have a full length rail and the Bipod sits approximately 4" from the muzzle. Provides lots of leverage when bench shooting, giving me a good sturdy base.

Also das ist ja mal ein ausgeklügeltes Teil !!! Dieses Teil ist an jeden Untergrund anpassbar. Das obere Gelenk ist nicht starr, sondern es ist so was wie eine Kugel die man in jede Richtung kippen kann. Mit einem Klemmhebel kann man die Klemmkraft die auf das Kugelgelenk wirkt, sehr exakt einstellen. Die letzten Millimeter die man braucht um die Position der Waffe auf den Schützen optimal einzujustieren werden dir mit diesem Zweibein gegeben. Durch die Kugel, können die Beine auch ein Stück weit zum Schützen herangezogen werden. Ideal wenn die Waffe durch den Rückschlag aus dem Stand gesprungen ist. Mit diesem Zweibein ist der Schütze sehr schnell wieder im Ziel und schussbereit. Mir gefällts weil es sehr innovativ ist. Bei dem Preis, können sich die andere Hersteller warm anziehen. Im Betrieb mit AR15 zuverlässig, für stärkere Kaliber würde ich es aber auch nicht einsetzen. Wie immer bei UTG - wenig Geld für viel Leistung.
