STMBowery, Laptop Shoulder Bag

Great bag for the price
I was looking for a spacious laptop bag for my 14” Lenovo that would allow plenty of room for accessories like my charger, cables, mouse, Rocketbook and more whilst travelling for work. I was attracted by the price and positive reviews of the STM brand but unsure that this would live up to expectations. It does! I like the understated yet distinctive style of the bag but most of all the multitude of storage options within. Whilst I’m yet to use it - so cannot vouch for durability, waterproofness etc. - I’m happy with my choice on the basis of the generous capacity and apparent sturdiness of the build.

Very Well Designed
I love smaller bags like this for when you just need to carry a laptop, tablet and a few other items. The problem is, most of the time, these smaller bags lack pockets to keep organized. This one has every pocket you could possibly need to keep things organized. There is a nice fleece-lined and padded pocket for my HP Envy 15.6 inch laptop, it's a perfect fit. A fleece-lined and padded pocket for my 10.1" Lenovo tablet. Pockets for a phone, charging block, cables, pens, flashlights, earbuds and field notebooks. Also two zippered pockets that are large enough to hold 8.5x11 documents, they might even be wide enough for legal size. There is also a nice pocket inside the back pocket as an alternate place to keep your phone or Field Notes. The fleece lining in the front pocket is a nice touch, I just wish they would have put a zipper or a flap on the pocket as it tends to hang open revealing the Big Bird yellow fleece inside. Also, the should pad could have been a inch or two longer to make it more comfortable for cross-body carry. Well worth the $25 I paid for it.

Great Bag
This is the second Bowery bag that I've purchased, the first one in the blue with red accents and this one is the darker blue-grey color. I like both color schemes. This bag is made of a very lightweight but durable material, holds it shape well, and has a hi visibility yellow and light grey interior which makes it easier to find items in the bag. It has great organization with a place for writing instruments, paperwork, a padded tablet and padded laptop compartment, a few pouches, and a rear zippered pocket as well. This bag also has a felt lined front pocket as well that you can drop items into very easily, making those items very accessible. It's amazing how much this bag will hold, my current inventory being keys, 4 pens, a pocket planner, dell 13 inch laptop with the power cord, medium sized paper back novel, medium notepad, multitool, small knife, extra batteries, lacrosse ball, eyeglasses with case, usb-c phone charger, lighter, small neutrogena hand lotion, small stapler, and staple remover. Ironically, even with this array, the bag is not bulky and more importantly, easy to carry. The shoulder strap has a cam clasp so you can adjust it to shoulder or even across your back. I highly recommend this bag. Note: this review was for the second 13-inch bag. My first one was the larger 15-inch bag, the only difference being even more room and the ability to accomodate a larger laptop. I would say the smaller bag could fit up to a 14 - 14.5 inch screen with the larger bag holding a 15.4-15.6.

Definitely high quality.
Roomy, organizes my stuff: charger, 3 portable hard drives, many memory sticks, cords without clunkiness. Good material that has worn well.

Surprisingly nice for the price
I actually bought the STM Bowery as a temporary replacement for a Tom Bihn bag I needed to get repaired, but I might keep using it.The external material is relatively soft compared to your usual ballistic nylon, but it seems like it should hold up okay - after about a week of daily use it doesn't show any wear yet.Inside, the bag is larger than you'd think. It fits my MacBook Pro 15 (with touchbar), a notebook and a book, a water bottle, a few chargers (phone, macbook) comfortably. I do wish there was a dedicated place for the water bottle but I haven't had a problem just keeping it in the main compartment. The bag actually feels like it's maybe a bit _too_ large around the outside--larger than it needs to be to hold a 15" laptop, and somewhat narrow/elongated when you don't fill it up.There are two big annoyances: the strap, while hypothetically replaceable, is attached in a frankly dumb way; the attachment points are unlike anything I've seen on another bag. They also get stuck on the sides of the bag _constantly_ because of their long ovoid shape, and so I am constantly having to rotate the strap. And on that note, the strap is the weakest part of the bag, with a fairly flimsy shoulder pad and a propensity to tangle itself up.Still, y'all: it's twenty five bucks. For the price, it's an amazing bag.

Really great bag, just big enough for laptop, tablet, charger, and a few bits and bobs.
