It's genuine scalextric product so the quality is as expected but then so is the price, this stuff isn't cheap to accumulate. Scalextric seem to have removed their track designer app from the website which is a shame as figuring out new layouts from a mix of expansion packs can be frustrating.

Essential track pieces for more intricate layouts
Along with short straights, quarter straights are essential for building larger layouts, I would suggest having 4 pieces of each if building 8x4 layouts or bigger! There were no issues joining the track pieces to other track!

Great fun but don’t use your best cars!!!
This is a nice addition to any of the standard tracks but, the demon in every child will aim to collide rather than avoid, so beware! It is manufactured well up to the usual Scalextric standards.

Not tall enough for the VW Camper van - otherwise great!
I assumed any Scalextric vehicle would fit under the bridge - no true.Bridge vertical clearance is 61mm - VW camper is 65mm high!We had to pack up the supports, otherwise great!

Since they cost the same as normal half straights I'm happy enough, would not be hard to paint you ...
Essentially just a pair of half straights, with the grid markings on so you have a four car grid. Since they cost the same as normal half straights I'm happy enough, would not be hard to paint you own really but frankly this is a lot easier.
