Good bit of kit
Very well made bit of kit, measures accurately and quite sturdy. Let’s be honest you are paying for the ‘name’ over anything else. Still a good buy and a useful tool.

Another good quality item
A very good quality item from Festool, This is great for getting into places where a regular tape measure will normally just fold on its self. also has various angle markings and is clear and easy to read. Also a great price..

Looks nice and works well.
Works well, however as other say the painted finish soon gets battered, but does look nice, however keep look out for the stabila rules as the festool ones are stabila with different paint and more expensive.

Great rule
So much better than pulling out a tape measure every time and being stiff means you can do things more easily one handed and in tight spots. Easy to put in your pocket. Accurate enough for woodworking and other trades. This is my go to rule for most measuring now. Seems to be robust if you use it properly.
